I'm not a huge fan of Tifa but I understand love for Mega Man X much less tbh. Regarding tomorrow's match, I can't help but wonder if Vivi could win. Ganondorf's victory on Dante was impressive, but we just don't know where Dante is at this year. He gets an expected 52% on Chun Li and 58% on Spyro the Dragon. What if if we're dealing with a weaker Dante? DK got 56% on Leon Kennedy, on the other hand. Ganondorf winning with 52-53% would put Tidus and Spyro nearly on the same level, I believe... weird.

It would be amazing to see Vivi pull it off, but I'm expecting Ganondorf to win without much trouble, with 52% at least...

What about Zero beating PIkachu? Erm... if Yoshi is worth less than 55% on Wario, then Zero has a serious shot at winning! (okay, so there's NO way Yoshi only gets 55% on Wario, so forget that I ever brought this up, hrhrhr....)

Sonic - still lower tier. That's my most confident prediction.

Crono - would be pegged for lower echelon, but CT looked so beastly in 2015 that most people are waiting to see what its protagonist will do.

Mega Man - got Smash since the last contest. Anyone who's confident to peg him now is braver than me.

Cloud & Seph - obviously were beasts in days gone by, but now it's uncertain where they rank and how far they've fallen.

Samus - Ms. Consistency has gone over a decade without a well received console game. It HAS to take a toll on even her eventually.

Mario - looked like garbage in 2013 and has been used less as the franchise guy for Nintendo. Wouldn't be surprised if he's dropped.

Snake - looked VERY strong in 2013, even before getting Draven counter-rallied. However, MGS5 was poorly received here, and other MGS characters don't look too hot. I think he's immune but am not sure.

Honestly, the one guy who has most likely grown in strength is Link... and now I understand why people are upset.

Don't forget that Cloud also has had Smash since the last contest. Unfortunately that doesn't really help him as 7 people in the NN are in that game, but w/e

Zelda, Chun-Li and Bayonetta looks like they have boosted. Tifa and Aeris just haven't tanked like many of the male FF characters. I wouldn't say they boosted. Terra looks good? Although a lot of that is Charizard being bad. 2B looks good but she was an unknown. Lara doesn't seem any better than before but I guess Amaterasu is female as well. That really feels like an excuse, though. It's really just Chun-Li that sticks out. While Zelda looks good, a lot of that is Squall being bad as well.

The Boss has the excuse of going up against a stronger woman, Terra and 2B both look great through Bowser, unless you think Bowser randomly dropped in contrast to every other Nintendo character.
