I was a total Sega kid. I loved the Mega Drive and I remember obsessing and wanting a Dreamcast real bad. Somehow the Saturn skipped past me.

But the classic Sega from the 80's, 90's and early 2000's is long dead. I don't think they have any internal developers who can develop anything like their classic stuff. They're good for buying out developers and publishing their games these days.

There other IP's don't bring in the numbers like Sonic games though, which was why Sega All Star Racers was forced to add in Sonics name to the title so it can get sales.

Sega entered the console business with the release of the SG-1000 on July 15, 1983. They exited it on March 31, 2001 when they discontinued the Dreamcast. That's 6469 days.

March 31, 2001 to December 19, 2018 is 6472 days.

Sega has never really been the same since. Crazy to think about.

I guess this means Microsoft is about to be in the console business longer then Sega too.

Can anyone even explain how the bounty system in the game works? It barely seems consistent. Sometimes you can stop witnesses and sometimes you can't. Sometimes you get them after story missions and sometimes you don't. The amounts for your bounty seem almost random at times. No idea what a mask is supposed to accomplish.

Basically whenever I see one it means it's now my job to leave where I am and pay it off at a train station which isn't exactly a fun mechanic. Outside of that I seem to be at the mercy of the gods.

Overall people on here are a vocal minority. The gamers who will buy the next big AAA multiplayer game day one to play with their friends are a much bigger audience. Wouldn't surprise me if most of them don't even know there are any controversies.

Meanwhile games like Hitman 2 don't get this benefit. There's no friends that force a lot of people to get in early.

There was a short-lived alternative called Hatreon a while back (and it did attract alt-right types who were banned on Patreon), but it crumbled because Visa refused to continue providing financial services to the platform.

It isn't just Patreon that will go after people who espouse disagreeable politics, produce questionable content, or otherwise develop a negative reputation. Visa, Mastercard, Stripe, and PayPal are also a factor and a major one because they collectively control a very, very large portion of the currency exchange process.

Well hopefully they're not idiotic enough to call their platform Hatreon so they could at least pretend to deny their accountability in regards to giving hate groups a platform.

A combination of things. Young women can be very superficial at times and there is often a discrepancy between what they say they want and what they actually want, which can cause much confusion especially if you're inexperienced. One of the big lessons for many men is the realisation that the traits which make you a good friend are not necessarily the same ones which breed attraction (I'm not sure if this should be intuitive or not). Stated another way, there is no necessary relationship between attractive and moral qualities (or something like that).

I think that's why people don't really show sympathy though.

Struggling to connect with people and be confident enough to make connections is relatable.

Focusing on not being able to get laid shows that your priorities aren't really in the right place. Having a relationship isn't the only important part of having a social life.

I'm assuming NZ works the same as Australia.

You have different employment contracts. Permanent or temp/casual. Permanent is basically a full time position. You get an annual salary and you're entitled to paid sick and annual leave. You also need to give your employer notice when you decide to leave.

You can be hired as a casual or temp. Generally you get paid by the hour (or have a contract that lasts for a limited time). You have less benefits but you also have less commitments to the company.

I don't know why anyone would be against this.

The cool thing about BOTW's formula is that it can be a lot more variable. Anything that's completely open with some goals to find and a final boss is going to be a faithful follow up.

The Ocarina formula was extremely rigid in comparison and they had a tough time following up on it.

Quick turn works well when you're used to it since you use your head to aim anyway. You only really use it to around. It's much more comfortable to play. I played through all of RE7 with it.

Nintendo mentioned in one of their promo reveals for Odyssey that it was the first true new Mario 3D platformer since Galaxy or something along those lines. Either that or that it was the real sequel to Galaxy due to being open world.

So yes, 3D World is a footnote in the Mario series, no matter how good it may actually be.

Odyssey is the successor to 64 and Sunshine because they have a more open design compared to Galaxy and 3D Land/World which are more like obstacle courses.

I played Skyrim for like 8 hours straight with smooth turning and increased sensitivity and had no problems. It's dumb to apply your own personal motion sickness problems to everyone elses experience.

Its not in direct competition with ps4 and xbox one whom are both pushing 4k gaming.

So if switch sells more units, it still cant really be compared to the other 2. Its in its own market. With no other real competition.

Everybody either owns a ps4 or an xbox1 but then each will also own a switch.

It can do 1080p when docked. I'm pretty sure the 1080p models for the PS4 and Xbox One are way more common than the 4k ones.

It is a portable system though so it is a different product in that way and I'm sure plenty of Switch owners own another system.
