I just beat Rayman Legends, got 100% in every level, got every Teensy, beat every Origins and Invasion level, but because of the way Ubisoft handled the trophies, there's pretty much no way I can get the Platinum. I need to win a game of "Kung Foot", but I have no way to play with anyone. I need to beat a friend's score in 30 of the Daily Challenges, but none of my friends even own the game (or at least none still play it). I platinumed Legends 3 or 4 times (PS3 + PS4 and two different PSN accounts) if you have a second controller you can play Kung Foot two player and just play and win against the unmanned player to get the trophy. That said, I think I have only 74 platinums on my current account but I have several more across older accounts (wish Sony instituted the name change thing a few years ago...) Most of my platinums are easy gets. I have to really enjoy a game to bother going after difficult trophies. I don't care about trophies that much. Pretty much all major publishers use some form of crowdfunding now, or use sites like Kickstarter to scout for itles or devs that generate a buzz. I'm more concerned with what your kid thinks This discussion was entirely between my wife and I. Kids weren't involved in the argument aspect. But as far as when the situation took place, it started raining and a cold wind blew in so the coaches called the games early. My son was cold and seemed more concerned with getting out of the rain than with what snack he was having. The lack of a donut for him didn't seem to phase him at all, which is another reason I think it's less of a big deal than my wife was making it out to be. Also, this isn't creating some rift between my wife and I. It's something we disagree on, but we disagree on a lot of things. Our relationship is healthy. Not going to argue that perhaps we could use couples counseling, because I believe all couples/families could benefit from (at the very least) some counseling. Those concerned with how I worded this topic/poll - it was done very tongue-in-cheek. I'm not angry, my wife isn't angry. Wife's argument: The coaches should be inclusive and provide a treat that is equal for everyone. Meaning they should provide peanut-safe snacks to every child, or provide no snacks at all. Far-Queue's genius-level argument: It is unfortunate the coaches failed to include our son in the snacktivities, but at the end of the day, he's our son and our responsibility, no one else's. It would've been nice if the coaches had let us know ahead of time that they were bringing donuts so that we could bring something from home for our boy, but I told my wife that perhaps we should prepare ourselves in the future by just always having a cookie or something on hand for these situations, instead of expecting other people to cater to our child. --- https://imgur.com/ZwO4qO2 Bluer than velvet was the night... If you didn't like Diehl, or thought one of the other candidates might have a better chance against Warren, you and people like you may have made a difference. There's still an independent in the running in Shiva. If you don't want Warren to win, vote. That's the absolute shittiest argument against voting - being disenfranchised with the process because you assume the incumbent is a shoe-in to win - and then refusing to vote... that's just lazy and irresponsible. The only way you and the rest of the lazy slobs out there can hope to change anything is to vote. Saying voting won't make a difference is a cop-out. More than 50% of the voting population don't vote during midterms.
