I don't really like the electronic synth sounds they use here, it nearly induces headache. But otherwise this is a pretty fun villain song, Green Goblin being the enabler to the scums of society (because he's rich) is great in concept.

Also I know the musical is one of the most famous modern musical flops and I heard it's not really good either, anyone here has seen it?

So about the game symbolism...

When defeated by depleting his HP, Jevil will mention something about the Queen. And we heard about the Knight several times.
Through the game we went through a chessboard area as well as the omnipresent playing card motifs. Queen and Knight more immediately bring chess to mind, but that area was short and relatively uneventful. Playing cards are more heavily featured, but if we take the final boss as King of Spades, we get very hints of what suit the Queen and Knight (=Knave/Jack?) might be.
We might consider the heart motifs on the Fun Gang's clothes as doubly referring to the suit as well.

Uuuuuh I gotta say, I don't like Dr. Horrible that much, the songs just don't do it for me. This is no exception. It's just...kinda boring. And I don't enjoy any of the vocal performances too much (NPH's is serviceable but I never really liked him vocally, he's pretty good in comedic roles though). I don't know what else to say. I think my favorite song from Dr. Horrible is My Freeze Ray, actually.

I like that the song basically sets up the gist of who all the characters are right away. The beginning is definitely where it shines though because Lauren Lopez is fantastic

This was the first time I head of Firebringer, though I was vaguely familiar with Starkid through AVPM, Twisted, and Twisted. Looking it up, it's actually their newest. I should watch/listen to it properly someday.

It's not too different.

In the final fight against the King, instead of Lancer leading a coup d'etat, Ralsei just pacifies him. And IIRC instead of being welcomed back to the Dark World, you're just sent off and away.

Also you can't actually kill anybody and gain any EXP. Defeated enemy would just be flung away.

Uhh, okay. The beginning part is quite funny but there are funnier songs that lampshade the concept of musicals (like That's How You Know from Enchanted, which is another song that I'm sad not to see here. And the melody feels half-done, it's just not very rich. It's just barebones -- like their society I guess. Though it's good for a chuckle or two.

From reading the wiki, I think it's a song that you can only fully appreciate if you're a fan of the show and I...have never watched Community in my life before this clip. The last 10 seconds are actually spectacular, but the first 50 seconds not quite so. It's just not constructed very well and it's like, very short, so even if it were all very good I probably wouldn't have been able to justify putting it too high either way. I imagine it's really funny for the fans though, so there's that.

Go to the ???? floor in Card Castle, talk to the person behind the door, go talk to Seam to get a piece of the key, get another near the paper Ballerina place in a chest, and get the last one past that puzzle early in the game about knowing the order of the floors in Card Castle. Then get the key fixed by the hammer guy, return to the Castle, and get your ass kicked

To add to this, the second piece is in a chest that's only accessible through a hidden path (i.e. not shown on the map but you can walk on it), in the map with the paper ballerina going in a circle, go to the bottom-left area where there's also a cycle of ballerina, then there's a hidden are in the south. No indication whatsoever so just go for it. Then follow the path until you reach the chest.

I agree. I reread World War Z last month and it's still pretty darn awesome. I hear they're making a sequel movie. Who knows, maybe it's more true to book and not so actionized.

Yeah that's fair. I wanted something from Tangled and that was the only option.

It makes me sad that I think we have slightly less crowd songs in modern Disney musicals, at least compared to the renaissance. We only have I've Got A Dream from Tangled and Frozen Heart and Fixer Upper from Frozen.
I do enjoy When We're Human and Dig A Little Deeper a lot though, as well as Where You Are.

56. God, That's Good!

I respect Sondheim immensely, but Sweeney Todd (as are all Sondheim musicals, I suppose) is quite an acquired taste. And it's one that I haven't acquired yet. I wish the songs were more melodic.
It's just...blah. Mostly just blathering, LuPone sounds rather annoying here but it's not really her fault, she did her best with her parts. Though Sondheim did very creative things with the lyrics and vocal parts and such, but if the end product sounds more like cat pies, then it might not be worth it. I just want to skip this mostly and I respect it more than I like it, otherwise it might've been lower.

55. Make Our Garden Grow

Somehow I wrote this as 'Make Our Garden Die', mixing the title with This Jesus Must Die. This is another musical I'm not familiar with. Anyway I...think I need the full context of this song to really appreciate it. As it is now, I don't know if these people joining Candide and her man are actually part of the story and thus rightfully sing together near the end, or is it just backing to make the ending powerful. Reminds me of Sunday (now that's one good crowd song). And anyway most of this song is a (boring, sappy) duet sooo yeah, I can't really put this one high. I have a feeling it might hold special personal value to KBM though.

Eh, I've never really bought into the Slender Man hype. He's decent, but quite obviously fake and that suit doesn't mesh well with the supernatural IMHO.

If they're in modern attire, I prefer something like the Dolls from Cabin in The Woods (man there were some cool monsters there that deserve their own movies).

I think they will be remembered as one amalgamation of the Conjuring universe, not necessarily individual films/monsters. Like it or not, they are very big and the younger generation might just have them as THE horror franchise of today.
