What is it? We're not sure. But, it looks like the "Growth" icon from Golden Sun



It's still a little hard to make out exactly what it is, but there's definitely some kind of resemblance.

A, B, D, F and G are all terrible evidence, no idea why he bothered to mention those because the E3 screen was in motion. C I don't know what the hell he's talking about, the water clearly met some land. It doesn't "curve up" However, the missing ruins, and the different crystals, that's what has me on the fence now.

This might be the most elaborate fake in Smash history.

Edit: Then again, there's no reason they couldn't change background details in 4-5 months since, either.

Yeah I don't expect them to do another game with a roster this large ever again. They had to build so many old, and new characters from scratch, plus there are 103-108 stages, most of them they had to rebuild from scratch. This game is fucking enormous. And I can't find this, but I've heard that apparently Sakurai siad, if he makes another Smash, it would be a reboot with a small roster.

If you don't know what I'm talking about, an supposed employee of a french company working on promotional material for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate sent pictures of the final roster mural over Snapchat. People subsequently stitched everything together, and the final roster has some crazy unannounced additions.

Ken (Street Fighter)
Shadow the Hedgehog (Sonic the Hedgehog)
Chorus Kid (Rhythm Heaven)
Isaac (Golden Sun)
Mach Rider (Mach Rider)
Geno (Super Mario RPG)
Banjo and Kazooie (Banjo-Kazooie)

Bringing the total roster count to 77. Personally I was only expecting Ken and Incineroar(so glad he's not included in this leak) left, so I really hope this thing is real. And honestly, this thing looks totally legit, and given some other information, like the name of the employee and company attached to the photos, promotional material for The Grinch of all things included with the pictures, nobody can find any of these renders anywhere else online, and a leak from about a month ago listing all of these characters, I'm inclined to say this is the final roster. Somebody would have to go through a LOT of effort to fake this.
