Investing in stocks is a complete waste of time unless you have major money to invest ($100,000+)

Otherwise the average return is so low for the amount of risk it isn't worth it.

Invest $5000 and you might make a few hundred bucks on an average return. On the other hand you could easily lose thousands.

Investing is great for long term gains what are you going on about

You'll only get these "long term gains" if you invested enough in the first place, on average. I'm not talking about the top 2% of flukers who make it big. Speaking in general.

How do normies do it?

You ever get motivated and work ur ass off for a month, 6month or a year? After a year you get burnt out or don't see the point anymore? well, I guess I'm not "normal". I don't understand how "normies" do this till 80years old or death.

Daily chores, brushing ur teeth, grocery shopping, cooking, dishes, vacuum, laundry, gym, staying healthy and being alive takes so much energy. Why am I doing this? On top of it all, you have to work full time job.

https://www.reddit.com/r/NEET/comments/9x7aau/nothing_is_worth_having_to_work_247_for_the/

Not one thing that the society has to offer is worth it all. The strength of this belief in me is astonishing, I never thought I actually believed in something ideologically, that much, until I fully realized what horror this necessity to work in order to physically survive is.

The people that are so happy with their jobs, families, friends, relationships.... they look utterly miserable for the majority of the day. Their jobs afflict their whole lives, it never is just the 8 hours. That's why I deliberately say 24/7 because that's how much of their time their work is poisoning for them.

Majority of the people are in a mental state where one miniscule thing is enough to make them lose it. I guess it's the survival mechanism that makes them say "it was worth it", because in reality, nothing is worth one second of this torture.

If I followed such a person around and directed their attention to HOW MISERABLE THEY ARE for the majority of every single day they have to work, they would get a mental breakdown probably.

It hurts me that they perpetuate this misery. It actually hurts me. There is not even anger left in me. It's just the feeling of disbelief. To see miserable people who lie to themselves afterwards that it was great and thus willingly prolong their own and others' misery is devastating.
