So then you want an AR build rechambered in 308 or 300 Blackout. Creedmoor is also an option. You can get a basic (PSA or equiv) build for reasonably cheap which should leave you ~300 for the optic. A comfortable range. Drop an extra 300-400 and you can run a dual rail with a holo.

The equiv is a M24 alike but those can get pricy. Being the m24 can go for 5, and most alikes live in the two range.

You want something short, a Lee Enfield is far afield of that. Sub 308 or equiv? What's your budget?

Savage Arms makes some nice bolt actions that don't require you to plumb the depths of the internet for some 303 British, lol.

If you can find one of the older models, the Rem 700 is a tried and true classic. If you want a really interesting plinker and have the range to stretch it's legs, the .17 HMR is like laser until around 300-400m.

My personal favorite is my Mosin Nagant with the Archangel stock. 7.62x54r isn't very small, but it's a fun gun.

Brave increases physical damage given and taken above 50, and it also increases reaction skill trigger%. It reduces physical damage taken/given below 50 but too low and they are cowardly and will leave the party.

Well, the freezing process would be ridiculously slow as you would have to radiate out the heat to reach that temperature. You would definitely asphyxiate if you had no portable air source. If you somehow managed to get back inside or get rescued before you died and you were out in it unshielded you get the extra fun death of dying of exposure to ridiculous amounts of radiation.
