Pretty fun so far, more than I expected of a sequel to MS1.

I would not call it grindy at all unless you're someone who wants to hit level cap within several hours (which you actually can if you know how). The point is, as far as playing the game normally without knowing the shortcuts, it's not a grind-fest.

It's a quest-fest.

You're spoon fed more than enough exp quests to hit level cap if you just continue on the main storyline. And almost every activity you can do in the game rewards you with exp (map exploration, building your home, trophy collection, fishing, mining, farming, crafting, dungeons, etc). You have to basically ignore all that stuff to end up stuck grinding...

The current content cap is lvl 50. However, the level cap is 60 (which you can unintentionally easily reach just by finishing up the main story quests. The quests give that much exp, so MS2 is not at all a grind-fest like early MS1 was.

Currently there's a nice selection of classes. Knight and Archer are my favorites.

They're often in the same boat in which their dating/relationship luck is in the crapper and they blame the opposite sex for not "manning up" or conforming to biased demands. If you go to any of their typical online haunts, you will see similar gender-discriminatory comments and tirades. It's just against boys and men instead.

In a sense, many angry radfems are basically the female equivalent of the male "incel".
They're just more inclined to doxxing and hate speech than rushing to threats of assault (outside of protests).

Both sides just seem like bitter after effects of widening divisive lines between the modern sexes thanks to pretentious politics and lack of mutual empathy.

The biggest problem with people like that is usually their best is not worth the trouble to begin with.

The phrase's underlying translation is "I'm never going to put any effort to improve our relationship from my end, but you need to always roll out the red carpet for me ". If there's anyone on the planet you should (as a standard) have a filter for your attitude with it's a partner you actually want to keep around. This stupid motto that "you ain't gonna change for no one" rhetoric is just going to keep you single, because it immediately says you NEVER compromise (something that is fundamentally important for relationship success). You know how couples in long lasting relationships manage to comfortably stay together after having a huge meltdown towards each other? COMPROMISE. If your profile says you're incapable of doing that, it's a huge turn off to people looking for more than a hook up.

I mean the phrase is basically informing you that this person is going to immediately expect you to excuse their unattractive behavior for the sake of holding out for those other moments when they're a better person. And you don't know exactly how bad their worst can get. You don't know if their best is even worth the time. You don't know how often you get to see each.

Wow, doesn't that sound like an attractive proposal...

As far as declaring what's socially acceptable, it's a standard set by both women and men.

As far as dating standards, men have a right to determine what THEY find attractive. Women have no say in that (should have no say in that), just as men should have no say in what modern women find attractive in dating partners either. Fat acceptance protesters complaining about media favoritism towards slim/fit body types I believe have a fair point (although not in a economic/marketing sense). What they do not have any legitimate ground to bitch about is being "discriminated" against in the dating market.

Most people are not into dating an obese person. Naturally and unexpectedly that's going to have an impact on a noticeably fat person's rate of dating successes. And since being fat is a choice for a predominate majority of people who date, well...you reap what you sow.

If someone chooses to be what most people consider unattractive, then the onus is on them to adjust to that reality. It's impractical to tell the world to change it's mind to cater to a triggered person's "dating crisis" that has nothing to do with marginalization, but instead a lack of self awareness and poor life choices.

Never mind that many fat women who are supporters of fat acceptance have made it clear that they are not any more interested in sympathy dating fat men...
