I saw one friend go down the drug path and that ruined his life.
But even that happened slower that the ones that let their lives get ruined by marriage.

Fell asleep for a couple of hours a while ago after the Dodger game. Had a slight case of the shits. Have to start making rolls in the morning for mother's day so I'm paranoid about waking up in time. Need to start at like 4am.
I have cats running track on my roof and a have a mouse or something in my back room wall going to town on insulation and I'm periodically shoving roach spray into a small gap my cat looks through in hopes I spray the little bastard.
So between the roof and the wall my cat is losing her mind. And I think I'm going to have a strawberry shake with spiked coffee in a minute.

As someone already asked. What is the definition of "go hungry" here? Who is defining that term?
Because many of these random government agencies may define that as not having what they conclude to be a "balanced" meal. A meal with too much sugar. A meal lacking veggies. Cereal instead of sandwiches. Etc.

Because the way I define that is literally going to bed without eating anything. Your stomach hurts from not eating. The classic definition of it.

But I'm willing to bet that's not how they're defining it.

Went 3 days straight without sleep towards the end when my grandfather was dying. He raised me and I was the only one taking care of him at the end. You don't even think about it. It just happens and you're running on emotions and adrenaline.
Him, hospital, him, hospital paperwork, hospital, family that only now shows up to second guess everything you're doing. Legal documents with a notary in the hospital, him, house, hospital. You get the idea.
It's amazing what you're body can put up with in that state.

Went to some winter dance thing at a country club one time in junior year with a girl but that was it. I am not into that sort of thing.
Although my friend's girlfriend feigned having something to do and then last minute and he decided to go stag anyway. Only to find her there with some other guy. He flipped, smashed in her Corvette windshield with a tire iron in the parking lot, cops were involved, suit was filed as he was 18. Didn't even hear about it until that Monday since none of us could get a hold of him. Yeah. It reads like a script of something but this actually went down. Didn't see him the rest of that year. Never came back to school. That was sorta it for our friendship with him too. He kinda closed himself off and wouldn't see of talk with anyone after that. I went to another school anyway the following year so I lost touch completely.

Diamonds is like, ugh.
Idk if it's what feels like a lack of budget. A lame ending. The in general yuk of 70s Vegas. What felt like Connery just cashing a check in his acting in it. The main Bond girl is just irritating too.
I just don't like it.

I do like the gay henchmen couple though. They're probably scandalous these days but I thought they were fun. Their end is soooo ridiculous it's fun.

You Only Live Twice is my favorite.
The asian surgery i.e. Connery in a toupe was never cringe to me, even now. It's just stupid. I mean it makes sense on paper but all that and it's just a toupe.
And has anyone thought about how the tech they're using in 1967 is now current again. We've gone back to capsules and we now have rockets that sprout legs and land back down on a landing platform thanks to that Tesla guy.
It's crazy. It went from a current/futuristic film in the 60s-70s to a dated movie in the 80s-00s and now to current in the 2010s.

Daniel Craig is really polarizing, which I find fascinating because he was just as polarizing at the time he was announced.

I'll just start off by saying I hate Craig Bond. Huge fan of Bond. But the last two I just watched on tv. And after SPECTRE I have no interest in them anymore. Not until they drop this moody realistic shit that has no place in Bond.

Which leads me to my next point. Die Another Day is bad. It's stupid. It has embarrassing cgi. But I would rather have 100 movies like that than ever have another SPECTRE.
They get back the rights to SPECTRE and Blofeld after all those years and thats what they do with it.

Supposedly, Austin Power's ridicule of the Bond formula is what led to the miserable ass Craig movies. And now we've lived long enough to see Bond take a ridiculous plot point from an Austin Powers movie that existed as a joke, and try and do it straight faced. Turing Bond and Blofeld into brothers albeit adopted. How utterly and fucking stupid. And to go a step further with it they have Blofeld claim that all previous 3 Craig film's villains and plots were all his machinations. All to fuck with Bond because daddy loved him more. Are you kidding me? Are you fucking kidding me with that shit? Sure the first 2 were Quantum/SPECTRE agents but they didn't do what they did to specifically fuck with Bond. And Skyfall's villain. He had nothing to do with Bond. Bond isn't even on his radar with what he wanted to accomplish. Yet here comes SPECTRE and it's pathetically stupid script and says oh no. All three worked for Blofeld and did what they did to fuck with Bond. OMG.
Hey, let's have the villain's entire pointless base blow up with a single bullet.
Let's have a magic ring that evidently we're to believe was worn by all 3 previous villains to get their DNA off of.
Blofeld built this entire evil network and rose to be this ultimate bad guy not to control the world or anything. But just to fuck with Bond when the time came. The computer spying software plot becomes a distant afterthought even to Blofeld while he's trying to kill Bond at the end.
Oh and Bond's tiny gun takes down Blofeld's chopper from a half mile away, while Bond if in a moving boat. Even by Bond standards that's ridiculous.
Ah! And don't even get me started on the worst song in the entire series they used.
After QoS's "song" I didn't think they could do worse. Holy shit was I wrong.
