they showed yoon seobin from the back during his high note in the preview. super curious how they're going to edit that performance. they had it easy with ha minho in season 2, but playing up the main vocalist's high note is like produce's bread and butter.

yeah, i get what they saw in yohan, but it's kinda beside the point and he'd probably just struggle in A. though the way they're handling X rank already goes against the original idea that they're being sorted to focus on how much help they need.

2.5 hours phew

- they kept flashing back to previous seasons during seat selection because it's the same reactions every time and entirely perfunctory at this point. lee midam was cool though - adding him to my faves.

- yoon seobin in the #1 chair. if a jyp trainee somehow fails to debut then i believe in curses.

- sung minseo constantly reassuring nam donghyun was cute, and i like them both. sung minseo is currently all the way down at 92 wtf.

- "DSP warriors". son dongpyo is good, i agree.

- not sure about the new ranking system, but i guess it's only for 1 spot anyway. like, it's never going to be an even playing field but it's especially not on the trainees if they don't get screen time and don't get votes before the first performance, which is why resetting the vote count along the way is good.

- fuck, this starship segment is brutal.

- how are they this impressed by heelys.

MLD's statement from the beginning for both was health and personal reasons, and we've had no updates on that since.

a rumour going around is that daisy is leaving to focus on school, and taeha's parents pulled her out because momoland haven't been paid since debut. if that's the case, i absolutely believe they haven't been paid, then fair enough but i'm going to miss them.
