The rest of the movie couldn't quite keep pace with that, but when you reach the pinnacle of action fighting, there's only one way to go. With that being said, still a great movie. It wasnt due to lack of knowledge. It was just a bunch of technical errors. Ended up getting a C in that class altogether. --- Don't mind me. I'm just here for the contest. |

He's using his sexual assault, which he barely showed any remorse for and it's like he's just trying to focus on baseball without any care to what he did, as a personal motivator for his talent. I wasn't following the story at all, so seeing him back in the lineup was a bit confusing. Makes the 7-0 whooping we gave them even more satisfying. I think he took a no hitter deep into the 7th or 8th inning once when he played with us. I went in hearing a lot of hype about this movie, so was a little disappointing that it was just good, not great. I'd definitely put Infinity Wars ahead of it. As with any movie that deals heavily in time travel, Endgame got kind lost in a bunch of logical inconsistencies and past/present/future implication bullcrap that it lost any sort of logical rhythm. I mean, here's a question. How does Dr. Strange have powers in the final battle? He had already given the time stone to thanos before he disappeared. The other time stone was in guantlet 2. How exactly does Dr. Strange have his powers? How did they all know to get there? And how was Thanos able to defeat Thor, Iron Man, and Captain America in a fight without his guantlet? I do love the gauntlet delivery scene at the end though. Good movie overall. Didn't feel like 3 hours, which is a good thing. --- Don't mind me. I'm just here for the contest. |

I'd almost want a fully expanded roster just to try and avoid that from happening! Also, if we are doing any kind of expanded roster, I wouldn't be opposed to upping the contestants to 250 or 300. | guffguy89 04/27/19 9:11:34 AM #41 | Congrats to the Nick supporters, this comment isn't a reflection of any of you at all... For some reason, Nick is just one of those characters I don't like. So the only bright side to this win is that Nick should get the winner's slump next season and we wont have to see him in the top 10 again for a while. I'm also not a huge fan of stats eligibility at only 3 contests. Look at smffc. I believe like half the top 10 in stats there are new characters who havent had to go through the longevity of a lot of contests. Just a few good rounds to kick things off, and boom, your ahead of everyone in stats who've had to endure many more contests of success to get there. I'm not just saying this because Nick has a great chance of debuting number 1 next season, I've had this complaint even during last season's smffc. I think 4 or maybe even 5 contests should be the inclusion line. As for Simba, to be honest I only mildly like him, so his defeat here isnt that disappointing. TLK is not my favorite movie, and Rafiki is probably my favorite character in it. The fact that Simba got to the finals though with limited dedicated support says a lot though about his overall likeability. As far as expanding the roster....there's something to be said about not allowing characters in who debuted pre-acquisition, speaking specifically to marvel and star wars. I love the idea of only including characters who debuted post-disney acquisition. That should have a more Kingdom Hearts-like effect on the contest rather than an overpowering effect on it if you let all Marvel and Star Wars characters in. --- Don't mind me.
