Samus' story is mostly unknown as far as the games go, but pretty well documented in the old Nintendo Power comics. Other M tried to do stuff, but didn't go a good job. (but shut up about not liking the Gameplay... it's good TeamNinja. If John Woo did a Metroid Samus would be shinesparking with a flock of doves) The idea is to play through Samus' adolescence as she is raised by the last of the Chozo, before getting the Power Suit. It'd basically be "Alien Tombraider" as you parkour around learning to survive and are gradually genetically enhanced to become the "Ultimate Warrior" The final boss can even be a singular Metroid, and defeating it being the proof you are superior to them. Because a singular Metroid... without your power armour, would desiccate you almost instantly! That's hella scary. Plus young Samus has this cute white leotard... oooooo! ... The plot could also be about overcoming the fear of her childhood and about not seeking revenge, being a responsible hunter, and so on --- "Salt cures Everything!" | Lokarin 12/02/19 8:53:38 PM #1 | This has worked before! All I know is it's a 2D game, likely a platformer. Could be something akin to Terraria/Starbound if they had larger tiles. And it's not Minecraft. The tile I remember is simply an orange dirt block with some grass on it. This rules out the NES and I don't think it's on the SNES. There's a chance it's on the GBA, so I'm checking Metroid Fusion right now. In addition to being an orange-ish dirt block, it's lumpy... definitely lumpy, that's why I'm remembering it. It doesn't seem to be the dirt from Spelunky, but it's pretty close... so if we don't find it then I'll just think that maybe my mind was playing tricks on me or it was from an older version or something like that. --- "Salt cures Everything!"
