I can confirm the cashier thing because i work at Costco. They have a bigass 'leaderboard' right on the wall with highest MPH (members put through per hour), highest items scanned per minute and highest scanning percentage. They defintely take notice of those who don't make it on the board frequently.

Im not a cashier but i get called up to do it if its super busy. Another big thing they want is to hound customers to sign up for the capital one Mastercard. Like relentlessly. Ive made it on the board several times because i dont waste my time with that and i dont hound the shit out of everyone who passes through over a fucking credit card. Half of them are in a bad mood usually anyways, im not there to make it worse.

Was riding in a truck with a buddy of mine down a highway once, and this guy behind us was tailgating us hard while we were passing all the cars on the right. He still decides to tailgate us so my buddy pulls up next to a semi truck and literally keeps pace with him for like 50kms.

I was in the same boat last year TC. My biggest problem was that i couldnt motivate myself to exercise and it felt like information overload on what to eat and how much and what to do for exercise and how much etc etc.

So i bit the bullet and went for personal training, to motivate me the whole way (get rid of that drill sargeant stereotype BS) and to show me what to do and how to do it and to do it the right way.

Year and a half later, down 45 pounds. Don't regret it one bit.
