Impidimp is a weird case because it's literally been publicly shown, and yet never "announced". So for people who don't read the internet, they don't know about it, even though it's right under their noses.

That's also another cool thing about this reveal cycle.

Like I said, Lanturn!

Also Sunflora already is an evolution and is more powerful than you think. Slow and frail though, but y'know, Grass types.

The way you're wording this post makes it sound like you forgot Lanturn is also an evolution.

It also makes it sound as though Sunflora has any redeeming qualities.

Some notes now that I've progressed more. (Late game spoilers)

The level cap, which I have not even unlocked yet, is implied to be 100.

Weapon ranks go up to 15. There's a second level of upgrades above DX upgrades.

I think I beat the final boss of story mode, he's in the 50s. Well, I was 51 when I beat him with good gear, if you're playing free you'd probably be 60+ before you can afford good gear at that point.

After beating story mode you continue unlocking new quests in party mode with even higher levels.

If it has not already been said, you can play party mode alone by going to the single-console multiplayer screen and playing with bots. That makes it effectively a whole second mode in the game. Yeah it's all the same fights shuffled around so it may feel redundant, but they all have their own missions so you'll still play them to progress for apples.

I would say that this game is more than 2x as big as Team Kirby Clash Deluxe. But it's not 2x the price, so it makes buying the max upgrade a better value in comparison. On 3DS the main thing that I wanted to do was simply max everything as soon as possible so I'd have access to the best gear and stats in order to start playing for high scores (which is where personally all of my game time went into). In this game I feel like I won't be reaching that for a while simply due to how high the levels get.

Online mode is clearly intended as the main level grinding method. On top of the 1.3x exp multiplier, you're playing with humans who may be higher leveled than you or with better gear, so it's usually easy to take down bosses that are above your level. Leveling up refreshes your vigor so it's very hard to run out. Also I forgot to say it but story mode and party mode have separate vigor bars which is a HUGE benefit for free players not being forced to wait to play. And another thing, you can get bonus apples from star quests in online mode, so that will be the main way of getting them once you start finishing most of your available missions.

Dang >_>

Thanks to MyNintendo Gold Coins from my last 3 purchases, I got away with spending less on this game than I did on the last one.

Beam is pretty much the same. All of the wands that I've found so far have the exact same charging speed, so you don't end up with another situation where a mid-game gear obsoletes the later ones. The Swords started off all the same, but eventually they started getting increased charging speed. So maybe they just nerfed Beam's gear instead of its abilities.

I haven't really looked at it, what's the difference between this and clash team deluxe?

It has all new battles, and more of them, and there are more missions. Also it has online multiplayer. It's not some massive change from the 3DS game, it's just a new entry in the series.

I love all of BW's soundtrack, but the standard trainer theme and the standard wild theme were my two least favorite battle songs in the game... So it bothered me hearing them so much when everything else was so good.

Not trying to blame GB nostalgia, but I think I give it to GSC. Both for the actual tune from the Johto battles, and the fact that it's the only Pokemon game that had 3 different versions of standard wild battle music.

It was my AIM name, which I only reused here because I could not think of a newer name at the time, and I figured that once I came up with a better screen name I'd make a new account. I never originally intended on keeping the same name across all services.

This account with the 3 hyphens was made because the version with 2 was banned along with my original account, and both versions with 1 on either end were read-only when I tried making them after getting banned.

The position of the roll relative to the stand is the same, you're just talking about rotating it 180, which is irrelevant. You could hold the roll in place and rotate the stand, and it would still be the same. I wasn't talking about its relation to the viewer.

Yeah, but the orientation of the roll is relative. Left-hand side to the left of the toilet is the opposite of left-hand side on the right of the toilet

I'm not sure what you mean by this. There are 2 ways that you could put the roll on the stand: MfoxPMG

This would look the same no matter how you're looking at it. The only thing that could change is the terminology used to describe it, because left from the back would be right from the front and vice versa. But as long as a roll has 2 ends, there are 2 different ways that you could stand it. And that was my main point, that being vertical doesn't exclude you from this "debate".

This poll is useless since right and left mean different things depending on the location of the roll. "forward" and "back" would be much more useful.

Grimlyn posted...
The question is obviously "toward or away" from the toilet, and the answer would be toward.

I was assuming that vertical meant some kind of stand like a paper towel stand that some people use... Which I've never actually seen for toilet paper, but it must exist. And if a roll of toilet paper is put into/onto a fixture, then it's still on one side or the other.

I'm sure that people who just keep the roll loose sitting around don't put it down in any specific way, but that's not how I interpreted the poll option.

In my experience that can happen when a name exists as a Contributor name that's different than their account name (you used to be able to edit your contrib name independently from the rest of your account). You would have to somehow search through FAQs/reviews/cheats to see if anything was submitted under those names and click it to find their real profile. You still won't be able to register those names though.

Inactive names will still show you their profile but say that they do not have an active account.

Can you make a thing where you pull the usernames and sort them all by karma? Doesn't have to be constantly updated, just a snapshot at the time that you pull the data. BFBB has a fairly large speedrunning community. I always thought that it was mostly ironic in nature (like those groups who started playing Garfield Kart or that Shrek fighting game), but after I saw the announcement of the remake, I thought maybe it's not, it could be actual genuine popularity.

Or maybe they just saw how big the speedrun scene was and falsely extrapolated that into thinking that the overall game was bigger than it really was. But either way, I was surprised to learn how many people were legitimately excited for the remake.
