Danny Green has shot ridiculously against us. 29 points and 7 3's. This is like what Ellington did to us last week all over again. Admittedly Green has been getting more open looks whereas Ellington was hitting them whilst heavily contestes. I think best we can hope for is that the Bucks and Celtics hold off Nets/Heat

That run by the Raptors to end the half is an absolute backbreaker for the Magic. That's a 19-2 run and just the way the Raptors were keeping/recovering some of those balls, you can't let good teams do that to you because you're already facing an uphill battle without gifting them possessions

I don't think I'll make it past the Ravens. Our series this season went with the home team and I'm missing a vital player on defense and lost my RB. If I do make it past them I can't see me beating the Dolphins who I have A. Never beaten since being in charge of the Steelers, B. Have knocked me out of the playoffs both times I have made it there and C. Look far more ominous this year than in previous years.

Zeridsla gates of fate are ridiculous. My Zerida is 56. I got her to T3 and put on gear from someone else on her. Not only can I not clear her 40 gates of fate, I don't even come close to beating it

Pistons get a deserved win. They played hard defensively and their 3 point shooting was fantastic. That 5/5 from 3 from Ellington in the 3rd (plus a 2) before he finally missed one really killed the game. Especially because they were all contested whilst the Magic missed multiple open 3s that quarter.

Magic also missed their chance for a run back when they missed both free throws after that flagrant. Hit them and get a 2 when you get the ball back and it's down to 12 with momentum in your favor but we missed the free throws, didn't score on the possession and the Pistons quickly got the lead back up in the 20s.

Not as upset as some Magic fans right now. We just won 6 in a row before this and if we go 3-3 in our final 6 we likely make the playoffs. Got to put things into perspective, can't win them all.

I'd say Pistons are very likely to make the playoffs now (which they already were)

Man Ellington shooting lights out from 3. 4/4 in 3 minutes to start the 3rd and all of them were fairly contested. Not much you can do about that

Zerida is very gear and star dependent and also needs runes. She doesn't do great out of the box. She also isn't great at PVE which is typical for Assassins (although she is the best PVE assassin)

Pistons deservedly leading at HT. High percentage shooting and playing solid defense in the paint, stifling the Magic.

Magic have been significantly better in the second half recently and pulled off a lot of comebacks but can't keep putting yourself in that scenario as eventually that well is going to be empty. Pistons heavy favorites to win now.

Echo should be a permanent thing or cumulative and then you should get a skin selector ticket every X amount of dollars.

But I mean I get it, they need to make money somehow and there isn't really much need to spend money at all. I kinda feel bad I don't spend on this game given how much I play and enjoy it and given that I have sank a lot of money into far lesser games in the past

Here's the Magic's defensive stats since the end of January (23 game stretch I think). Originally I said I don't think it's debatable we have had best D in this stretch but I think Jazz have also had a good defense in this stretch too?

Celtics - 2-0

But I'd imagine some of our success might come down to teams not game planning / taking us as serious as the better teams.

The interesting thing to see will be if our defense carries into the playoffs (if we make it) as we have had the number 1 D in a lot of categories since late January. But obviously regular season games and playoff games are entirely different things as stars crank it up in the playoffs.

And this is why nobody will want the Magic in the playoffs

The Magic/Pistons game on Thursday is worth more than just a win as the winner gets the tiebreaker. Pistons currently lead in H2H so a win seals that for them. If the Magic win it ties up the H2H and Magic have the edge in the next 3 relevant tiebreaker scenarios.

And I can breathe again. Magic win in spite of the refs making some horrendous calls. We have now held 7 of our last 8 opponents held under 100. 17-7 since Jan 31st and looking good for playoffs again. Likely need 3 more wins to get in, 4 would virtually guarantee it since we are in a strong tiebreaker situation.

The GameFAQs unemployment rate is approximately 12.5% according to yesterday's Poll of the Day. That's over three times the US unemployment rate, even for the age group of 25-34 years. I'm guessing the reason for that is that many gamers are lazy and/or anti-social. That would limit friends and networking, limiting employment opportunities.

Also comes down to if you are unemployed you have more time on your hands so are more likely to play videogames

Well that is a huge win for us. We were losing 60-57 at HT and then outscored the 76ers by 25 in the second half to win 119-98 and really it should have been more than that as we were up by like 30 when everyone rotated 3rd stringers in. Have now held 6 of our last 7 opponents to under 100 points too

Gotta win at least 1 against the Heat or Pistons now. Then we'd need wins against Hawks, Knicks, Hornets to get us to 40 and we'd be in a strong tiebreaker situation. Any wins outside that would be a bonus. If we get to 40 wins and miss out I'd be upset but I can live with that. It would hurt because of how many winnable games we threw away but 40 wins would be massively above preseason projections (like 30 wins)

Also because I have been giving him shit all season I will give credit where it's due and say Fournier has been great recently. He's actually been playing to the level he did in previous years when he was one of our better players (and what got him the contract). I don't know what has changed with him but he's stepped up massively

Someone theorized that his offense suffered a lot because he was drawing a lot of hard defensive duties so may have been tired (he does typically get tricky defensive matchups). And more recently we've had players be better defensively which may be freeing him up somewhat. Hopefully it carries on

Man, the Magic against good teams and the Magic against trash teams may as well be two entirely different teams. It is ridiculous how much we play up or down to our opponents

If we can hold on to this lead against the 76ers this would be a huge boost to our playoff chances. Just as long as we don't follow it up with losses to the Heat and Pistons (I'd take 1-1 in those games, if we go 2-0 in them I'd say we are extremely likely in)

You also don't have an elimination scenario this week at least unlike a lot of the other teams in that 6-8 win range

That Jeremy Lamb buzzer beater is exactly the sort of shit that keeps happening to the Magic. Our rivals keep getting improbable wins by doing shit like that.

Valaninas has 21 points 22 rebounds right now. Also 5 fouls (4 of which are moving screens). Tyler Dorsey has 28 points, 9 assists. The ghost of Chandler Parsons has 17 points. I think Justin Holliday has like 22 points too.

I think you will struggle for sympathy from us when most of the people follow teams who have been terrible and don't get to see the playoffs!

The Magic were down 17 to Grizzlies. Clawed it back to force overtime but we cannot lose this game. I've already said on twitter I'm done for the year if we lose this (which is very possible!)

It does bring up the point of what is stopping a non-prize eligible entry person just putting in a fake US address and then getting the prize via email.
