| Sunhawk 07/14/19 6:49:42 AM #1 | I went to a local church about 10am (just before a service started), because I was curious about the age demographics who worshipped there. I hoped there would be a mix, and a reasonable number of millennials. Well, maybe 80% of the people I saw were over the age of 50. Lots of white and grey hair, people walking with canes, etc. Reminds me of the church I went to when I was a teenager. I suppose there were some younger folk too, but they were basically middle-aged. I'm not sure if I saw anyone in their 20s or 30s. Of course, this was a British church. This is one of the most atheist countries in the world. I think that Christianity may die out after the one or two oldest generations in this country die, or at least, be severely diminished. Perhaps churches should start having a video game "club" after the main service. That way, more millennials would come! The funny thing is, I remember hearing this idea back in the 1990s, and I think some church was actually trying it out. Thoughts on all this?
