its why they had a brief falling out at one point when someone pointed that out to raj

ive been banned from 2 subreddits for stupid reasons
i got banned from the onion hater reddit for saying sour cream and onion chips arent bad cause they dont taste like onions at all

and got banned from subredditdrama because one of the things they linked to interested me so i posted in the thread they linked to which got me banned

the onions one bothers me because all of the onion hater posers there
so many posts of people showing all the onions they had to pick out of their food
a real onion hater knows you cant eat food that had onions in it at all because the onion juice soaks in and ruins the entire meal so picking them out does nothing!!

and there are a lot of sitcoms on the air right now

mom is pretty popular
its about a woman who is an alchololic and in AA
her mother is also in AA and the 2 reconnect

its pretty funny
the first couple seasons arent great though
cause anna faris (she plays the lead character christy) had 2 kids who were terrible
once the writers wised up and wrote the kids out of the show and just focused on anna faris, her mom and their friends from AA did the show get better

it has some genuine sad scenes like this one

water world and ice world in mario 3 were amazing

also more power ups. yoshi is fine but i would have loved a froggy suit or hammer bro suit

also i always thought the blue yoshi was purple so i always viewed it as the girl yoshi

there are things that to this day still bother me about the super mario all stars remake of mario brothers 3
i liked it better when mario and luigi were palette swaps of each other
i hated that they made all the airship levels be set at night since only the sand world airship was a nighttime level on the nes. in fact the all stars version just made the airship levels less unique
the snes version each airship was a different color and was set at daytime.

and i hate that the miniboss in world 2 looks just like every other miniboss in the game in the all stars version
i liked that he was greyish blue in the nes version

i was happy to learn something new about the game a couple years ago
i learned that even though the hammer brother costume cant slide down hills it does still have a sprite for sliding down slopes and you can even access it in a world 6 level
its towards the end of the world you hit the giant block to get a hammer bro suit to pop out but instead of getting it you go to the slope in the floor and slide down. if you timed it right you will slide right into the hammer bro suit and continue sliding down the slope only now in the hammer bro suit

ive been playing super mario brothers 3 since i was 3
im 30 now and still play it a few times a year
ive beaten the game with every power up. hammer bro suit, toonoki suit, frog suit

almost every water level even in world 4 and 7 has something in an underwater segment you need the frog suit to get
usually cause they are blocked by a pipe blowing bubbles which pushes you away and only the frog suit can swim past it

You also might not be able to do the one in pipe world where you have to keep chaining invincibility stars (since you can't run in the frog suit) but without looking at a map I cant remember if you had to play it

nope you dont need to do that level
you can do that or the level with the purple pipe maze thing

a lot of places you dont need to fly but just run and jump which you can do by holding onto something like a turtle shell which you can usually find

off the top of my head i can only think of 2 levels you need to fly to beat
one in ice world which is one of 2 possible paths so you dont need to do that level at all
and one in pipe world which you can skip with a cloud if you saved them.

it wasnt until i was like 15 and got internet for the first time in my house that i learned people found the level hard

but ive always liked water levels
water world is my favorite world in super mario brothers 3
the frog suit is so much fun
ive beaten the game wearing one before

Well yeah, but as a kid I didn't want to use Peach lol. I wanted to use Bowser cuz cool dinosaur turtle villain man is on my team and Geno was the coolest character ever.

as a kid i always used bowser and peach
sometimes id use geno over bowswer
once i got bowser mallow left my battle party and never was used again
except in nimbus land

mallow is always in my party for nimbus land which is his last hooray since her goes right back to the bench once valentina is beaten

also i always found it weird that her boobs jiggled when you hit her

First time RPG players aren't going to know that Peach can heal everything and make it all okay. My standard team consisted of Mario, Mallow, and Bowser.

using her for any length of time will show that to you so its not like her being overpowered is a big secret as her healing skills prove their worth right away

its the fact that with her frying pan weapon she is as good at physical damage as mario, and with her psyche bomb she is as good at magical damage as mallow that is the less obvious reason she is overpowered

and the completely overpowered lazy shell armor

but her healing being great is obvious from the start

its how i played hearts. i looked up a translation script online and read it as i played so i knew what was going on

being 2D did help make hearts gameplay much smoother than the 3d games
honestly the DS just didnt make good looking 3D games
even ff4 the best of the lot looked worse than the 2D DS games

but this is the only DS game that didnt get a fan translation
i mean it got a 99% complete attempt at one which was cancelled and so it can never be played
but out of the 3 DS games it was the only one that got an official english release with the vita remake

compared to tales of the tempest its a goddamn masterpiece
innocence is kind of barebones but unlike tempest you can tell actual effort went into the game
the cast is really likable
