I started to tug at her arms. Nothing. I told her I was gonna dump water on her head. Nodda Opened her eyes. Lifeless stare. Then the freakout really started to set in, and I started lifting her head up and yelling "babe! Babe! Wake up! What's wrong!? WAKE UP!" while literally crying. I was on the verge of calling an ambulance, then she started to move. She still wasn't responding, but at least she was moving a little. She finally came to, and i was super relieved. I know those words get used frequently to describe the personality traits you're expressing here, but I'm fairy certain they don't fit you. For one, you're aware of these traits within yourself AND you don't want them. You want them to go away, or find a way to deal with them. Ignore people who call you those things. What's making you feel this way, or have these thoughts, could be any number of things. You're taking the right steps, seeking therapy, and that's the best you can do right now. As admiral stated, it could be something rooted in your past. Anything really. As people are different, it could be something that wouldn't bother most people, but for whatever reason, it bothers you. Not to be a negative Nancy, but it could be something that you will always have to deal with. In my own life, I have aspects that I could stand to do a little better in, and I may very well always be like that.
