If they wanted they could have followed those more closely and gotten more seasons. The point is that DnD proved they weren't interested in properly adapting anything passed the first three books, so everything after season 4 started to fall apart. They started using shitty filler with shitty tiny adaptions of the stories that were actually in books 4 and 5. And no, book 5 didn't come out 20 years ago. It came out 8 years ago. And no, those books weren't terrible or unadaptable. They just decided they didn't want to evem try. --- Dot Dot Dot... |
