Do you have a source for this, or are you basing your 90% figure on rhetoric and platitudes?

Using 90% is colloquial for the vast majority.

Ah so no source, meaning you made an assumption. Ergo, not nuanced or critical in thinking.

Critical thinking doesn't mean you have to have a source for everything.

Imagine comparing the elderly who have already done their share for society to NEETs who refuse to grow up and contribute.

Thats why i said if you looked at the situation objectively as opposed to using feelings

It objectively makes more sense to support an able bodied person than the elderly/disabled.

That's not what objectively means. They objectively contributed to something to society. They did something to earn their benefits.

Can you answer this?

The elderly people already gave their share to society. They aren't NEETs.

In ancient times the elderly went away to die so as not to be a burden to the community. Many disabled children were killed at birth or as soon as the disability was found.

Only in a few cultures, most revered their elders.

And just some additional information, we as a nation are in the middle of a transition from an Industrial Age to an Information Age. The shift is making tasks like assembly and manual labor obsolete. Places like McDonalds will probably be fully automated in a decade or two. So naturally youve got people who dont want to waste their lives on such menial work and want to explore their own self interests. You also have people who dont like change and are clinging to the Industrial Age like some sort of life raft in an increasingly confusing world.

tl;dr rabble rabble

The industrial age shifted to the service age long ago. There is no information age in that regard, completely different concepts though information is a big contributer to the service age. Now we're shifting from the service age to automation age.

Okay, my sociology professor and I are both wrong.

The Information Age (also known as the Computer Age, Digital Age, or New Media Age) is a historic period in the 21st century characterized by the rapid shift from traditional industry that the Industrial Revolution brought through industrialization, to an economy based on information technology.[citation needed] The onset of the Information Age can be associated with the invention of the transistor,[1] particularly the MOSFET (metal-oxide-silicon field-effect transistor),[2][3] which revolutionized modern technology[1] and became the fundamental building block of digital electronics in the information age.[2][3]

How much will the PS5 and Scarlet cost?

The 1060 can output in 8k.

Doesn't mean games will run in 8k.

Next gen is no different. The consoles technically have the ability to output that resolution but the majority of games will not due to system requirements. There is no standard game that caps what a graphics card or console can do.

In all likelihood it's more so they're ready for 8k media content without needing a hardware refresh.

With a monitor, 8k is literally useless, anyway. Unless you're an eagle or something.
