Blood Omen 2 is generally considered the lesser of the Legacy of Kain series, mostly because of the clunky controls and the mediocre story that's kind of clich and nowhere near as profound and intricate as the other games. At least partially because Amy Hennig wasn't at the wheel of making this game.

You can buy it as a "PSOne Classic" on the PS3/PSP. Should be able to play it on a Vita too. I've been itching to replay it, but I recall the PS1 version having abysmally long load times.

Essentially Bitcoin and other cryptocoins are digital forms of currency that are traded in a decentralized manner, without banks being related in any way. It's basically like stocks, but with a higher chance of risk/reward, due to the values changing more erratically.
It is mined through groups of graphically powerful computers working together 'digging' around in virtual space.

Banks demonize it, because they're not making money out of it, claiming this is a menace to the economy, while it really just comes down to personal responsibility, just like with the regular stock market: all the money you invest, either you take the risk of losing it, or its value can rise (to the moon!) and you can cash out big.
The horror stories basically come down to people who invested all of their lifesavings in BTC and lost it all when the value took a massive dip in December 2017. Personally, I think the general crowd investing in cryptocurrencies as a get-rich-quick scheme does less harm to the economy than the general crowd investing in housing.

Not recognizing a stalemate until I'm hours into one.

The most memorable example of this was when I was playing Heroes of Might & Magic III:
I was playing the Warlords scenario (one of the largest maps) against several Computer players on Hard mode. After 2-3 hours the northern 40% of the map was controlled by me, the southern 40% by the only remaining Computer player and the middle 20% was basically a buffer zone that switched ownership every two weeks of in-game time.

No matter what tactic I applied, the situation remained like this. If I focused on attack, I'd leave one or two castles exposed to an attack. If I focused on defense, no ground would be lost or gained. If I balanced between attack and defense, neither would be enough to be effective. And neither the Computer nor I generated enough resources to create an effective army for more than two heroes at the same time.

Unfortunately I was too stubborn to admit we were literally evenly matched, until I looked outside and noticed night has shifted into morning.
Incidentally this was also my longest gaming session ever (a little over 8 hours straight), pausing only for bathroom breaks or getting a drink.

The problem with MGS4 is that it lacks consistency.
I liked the army vs army feature in the first two acts, where you can either help out one side and influence the outcome, or you can just ignore the battle completely by trying to sneak past it. Then after Act 2 that is completely absent for the rest of the game. Act 4 is ok, just regular MGS gameplay with nothing special (except of course the fan service REX vs RAY fight). Act 3 & 5 is just "Get from A to B and switch your controller for some popcorn."

Also, the final boss fight is literally the most overrated and clich boss fight ever.

Dude hunts vampires and it's eventually revealed that vampires have basically assumed humanity's role as the dominant life on Earth and the dude is the last human. He ends up becoming as legendary to the vampires as a boogeyman as vampires were to humans. Thus He Is Legend. The movie fucked up the whole point.

That's pretty much standard with movie adaptations of books that don't end all flowers and rainbows for humanity. Same reason why I felt the movie adaptation of Dan Brown's Inferno sucked (cinematic quality aside). The movie's ending skipped the entire point of the story.

A couple of times.

Once when I was just completely fed up with everything. Dad was cussing me and calling me worthless, saying how much he hated me and wanted me to die. Mom was yelling at me because I talked back to him. So I went home(lived next door with my brother). Then he got started, telling me how amazing he felt he was, and that I can't compare to him. He just loved mocking me over this stuff, but I wasn't in the mood to take it. I told him to stop, and that he was pushing me off. Instead, he responded with "I'll stop if you're man enough to make me." Then started insulting me again. I warned him one more time to stop, when he didn't, I punched him. He fell over in surprise, then jumped back up in my face trying to intimidate me. Then ran off to my parents place and told them. So it ended up being like a week long event of them all 3 wishing I were dead and treating me like garbage.

The other time was when my dad tried to kill me. Ended up in a brawl with him. Due to some interference from my mom, I ended up on the losing end and he was strangling me.

I'm sorry to hear that. Hopefully things have gotten better for you since then.
Also I hope that people see this as an example that family =/= unconditional love or more important than anything.

that's if everything will even end the same way. Just because Martin told them how it was going to end, I doubt everything will follow the same path, or really end. For all we know, they ended up changing a lot to the ending.

Probably. It does seem likely to me that Bran is gonna be king of Westeros in the books as well, as that is actually a pretty important plot point for a stable ending that provides closure to the story.

Eh, it's not that uncommon in fantasy novel series that at the end of the story a main character sets off to explore the world, into the unknown. I guess it provides writers with an excuse to introduce something completely new, or simply a thing to do for a character that has little interest in taking part of the politics of the main story environment (anymore).

Maybe it'll make a little more sense in A Dream Of Spring (if that ever comes out), for example that there is like a gap of a few years between Bran's coronation and Arya's departure.
