Tbh I was impressed by this episode and can understand why even after almost 8 seasons of subverted expections, people are still like "Waaaaah, a character I liked did something I didn't like, this show sucks and I'm literally NEVER gonna watch it again, EVER". I sure didn't like that decision, but the episode itself was well-executed as a whole. I do wonder how they intend to finish the fallout of all this in the next episode and end the story in a satisfying enough way. As long as it's not just "Jon or someone else queenslays Dany, The End" or "Jon exiles Dany back to Essos, The End", I'll probably be ok with whatever choice they make. --- The secrets of the ancient world have been unearthed. At worst, it gets meh in the middle seasons where it's mostly just main characters traveling back and forth with almost nothing happening. But yeah, Theon's torture scenes did get me thinking like "Jeez, just put the guy out of his misery already! Some of those crit weapons are indeed pretty handy to have if you get them early enough (luke Lucky), but by the time I get most of the other weapons, I can get stuff that works reliably all the time. Also, those crit weapons don't take mods, and whenever possible, I really prefer a scope/silencer/bigger mag on it. --- The secrets of the ancient world have been unearthed.
