Not according to a quick Google search. That shows almost all countries in Africa slavery is legal. There was even a thread a couple months back with pictures of female slaves with their hands tied to bamboo sticks like we were still in the apocolypto era that someone took with a phone in Africa.

A Google search shows that no country has legal slavery. That picture you're talking about is probably from Libya which is unstable as hell so lots of black market stuff like slave markets fall through the cracks there.

Also according to Google, 58% of modern slaves live in India, China, Pakistan, Bangladesh, and Uzbekistan. None of which are in Africa.

https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/worldviews/wp/2013/10/17/ this-map-shows-where-the-worlds-
30-million-slaves-live-there-are-60000-in-the-u-s/?utm_term=.760ef1768a1c

Could be fake, but as you can see a majority of Africa is slave territory. It was literally the first link for me, but Google is different for everyone so maybe you got dif data.

Because Africa already had a tradition of slavery. The Europeans just bought slaves from Africans that were enslaving other Africans.

I think this is the correct answer. I mean it's still going on today in Africa just Google where is slavery legal and it's basically all in Africa.

Ive heard slave owners tried enslaving other races but every single race found a way out of it. It's only been the Africans for some reason that can be enslaved for good and I have no clue why, if anyone has a theory or knows why I'd love to know?

Slavery is illegal everywhere and there is slavery going on in every continent.

The rest of your post is bullshit.

As soon as phones can replicate or at least come close to a console gaming experience, which they are as 5g just came out, aside from grassroots movements most of the modern consoles will die off. A phone is simply too handy, so the gaming industry is gonna have to pull out some striking vipers/sword art online tech in order to compete with the mobile market. With things like the oculus out its just to continue settling for traditional gaming, especially with how complicated modern console gaming is(seriously, I feel like I need to get certified in order to play some of these games) so a soft reset in the gaming industry needs to happen. We already saw that simple games like Pokmon go can get massive followings so it's definitely looking like we're heading more towards AR and VR gaming and moving away from console gaming. Which should get people excited as they'll finally be getting some much needed vitamin d.

How are smartphones going to close the gap it has from consoles?

Even if we solely talk about streaming I don't think syncing up a controller to a phone and then getting that image on your television is going to be a simpler experience than what consoles provide. Then you've got internet connections on top of that.

There's a lot of ways mobile gaming could wreck console gaming you just named one way. If whoever the heck is running all this decides to have a casting feature with a gaming app that you can use your phone for its not hard to imagine people syncing up and having gaming parties with just their phones and a more integrated television system that completely cuts out the console middle man and creates a new way to game, one not so dependant on finger dexterity, but one that involves more movement so that its healthier, this seems to be the best path until we reach fully immersive gaming systems like that in Sao which aren't too far off.

Phones have definitely disrupted the gaming industry. I don't think there's any more mobile gaming devices aside from hardcore followers that niche has been swallowed by the mobile tech industry. Streaming games will become more of a norm as televisions become more like consoles and with internet speeds set to go even after than ever we're looking at a new era of gaming. Movies are also going to transform into more interactive adventures where the audience can use wireless devices to make choices for the protagonist, this will bring in mega bucks for the entertainment industry as they can make several endings for one movie so people will want to re-watch movies to get different endings. It's a whole lot of what ifs but I see consoles just like I see desktops, completely obselete. I can plug in a thumb drive and turn my TV into a smart TV, you're telling me I need this huge console and disks that I have to go and get or order online in order to play a game; mega outdated if you ask me.

I used to be afraid to die, but after my battles with mental illness I don't care anymore. I've been to jail. Several psyche wards. I often wonder what my purpose is anymore. That's why I no longer care if I die, I try to take care of myself and do what needs to be done but I'm just like "I wish I was a billionaire or was extraordinarily talented in something." I worry about my family. The things that keep me going is seeing where all this goes, like what's the whole purpose of my being here. I became religious, like I believe in an afterlife, I just don't know if it'll be good or just the same thing. My parents are getting older and I look at them and wonder if that'll be me in 25 years, don't get me wrong they seem happy, but they've had to deal with a lot. It's all a lot to think about really. I just hope for the best.

I hated turning 30 and thought it made me old as fuck although I still looked young (and many people told me so). Always been in the habit of trying to eat decently, get enough sleep, exercise regularly, good skin care routine, etc.

Now I'm approaching my 33rd birthday and I feel like aging is suddenly ramping up for me big time. I've had a stressful last few years so that would do it, but it's super fucking disappointing because I still feel like I'm still doing everything right and it's just out of my hands now and I can't do anything to change it. I feel like my skin looks worse and though I'm not visibly balding at all I feel like I'm noticing more hair shedding just in the last couple months so maybe after another year or less I'll have to admit it's not coming back. Feels bad man.

I never thought I was good looking or whatever, but I always sort of took pride in my appearance and tried to maintain a youthful and healthy look. I don't feel like I can cope with aging (and this is just appearance, how about when I start having daily aches and pains, can't physically accomplish as much and struggle mentally?) There's legit no upside to getting older.

Hopefully as our understanding of biology evolves we can live longer more youthful lives. I know it's kind of been tradition to get old as heck and wither away for the last hundred years or so but I think people are realizing just how much it sucks getting old and really want to get rid of it all together or reverse it. Who knows, longevity research looks promising though.

It's been like 8 years since our desktop died. Never bothered replacing it. I have a laptop I use as a desktop basically which does everything I need although it's kind of old, 2014. I use my phone for most of my computing needs. The only kind of desktops I see anymore are the integrated screens, so there's no box that attaches to the monitor it's all in the screen and it has a keyboard, but yeah desktops have been on the way out for awhile. A laptop/tablet can do pretty much everything a desktop can without taking up as much room so there's virtually no point in having a desktop now a days from a consumer stand point.

@HairyThotter the sphere grid is basically a 2d grid where you would use sphere loot drops to progress through, everyone's sphere grid was the same but depending on your character you would have to obtain these special unlocking spheres to unlock things like black magic for a character that wasn't that type of build for example. If you maxed out your characters you could have access to every skill with every character which was pretty cool. This is how I remember it being. You would traverse the sphere from node to node unlocking skills throughout the grid.

Things are rough in this country. We have an abundance of food yet people go hungry, it's ridiculous. I used to work at a supermarket and the produce department would throw out so much food just bc it had a spot on it or was too ripe, and they forbid anyone taking them home or eating them. I understand you've got to make money but if you're going to throw good food out at least donate it to homeless shelters or other impoverished areas. It's up to people to do the right thing, but if no one listens bc they're too busy stuffing their pockets with cash then needy people will find a way to take advantage of the system.

You'll only starve because of the tens of thousands of student debt you sunk yourself into, not to mention the opportunity cost of going to school instead of working at the same wage you would be making after graduation.

It's actually not the same wage, you get payed slightly more with a degree if it's relevant to the field you're in, but the pay is like maybe 2-4 dollars more per hour, and most serious jobs are performance based or they pay you a salary but overload you with work. Being an employee in every sense is a suckers move, you eventually become an NPC and your employer really could care less about you. I'm currently disabled, and even though I only make a fraction of what I'd make at a regular job I still prefer the stable pay and sit on my butt at home than working for an employer where I'll be lucky to last 2 years without getting just as bored with the job as being at home watching Netflix all day or whatever I currently do.

It's easier to for women to get laid than men because men compete with other men in order to find females to bang, it's not like there isn't plenty to go around cuz there is, it's just that there's guys who take pride in having sex with lots of women and that ruins things for the average guy who would probably be happy with a serious girlfriend. Girls on the other hand don't really compete with each other on the same level men do and kind of seem to understand better that it's easy to get laid as long as they are compliant with a man, a man being compliant with a female is not a desirable trait unfortunately. Looks don't play as big of a part in getting women as guys think, it's more about lifestyle and resources.

They need to be real. Too many top guys ducking each other in fear of losing their reputation as greats. Boxing is only going to continue to get worse until the people who are passionate about the sport actually put their foot down and say enough is enough, we're going to put together the most legit boxing league ever, promote the crap out of it until everyone believes it is the best and only legit organization, bring in the best talent and pay them well, introduce performance bonuses... Uh I think that'll about do it honestly.

If they can do the above boxing will thrive, but it won't happen til the boxing community gets its act together.

OH yeah, they need to quit it with the perfect record bullcrap and have competent judging. No more fights like Mayweather VS maidana 1

If you're good at programming this is a great idea for an app. If you create both a selling and buying section instead of just one buying section people will flock to it because it'll make it so much easier to flip items for profit.

You'd see what people are selling for and what people are buying for so any area in between is where your users could interchange items and make or lose money.

Every app I know just has a buying section and you have to message the buyer and stuff like that and try to talk him down. I just want to put an offer up for anyone who is trying to sell their stuff, that way I don't have to sift through a bunch of listings messaging people and trying to get to lower their price. If I put out an offer for an item I figure whoever is desperate enough to sell me that item at that price will do it and I can get what I want without having to do much of anything.

The problem with just giving people 1000 bucks free and clear is that there is nothing stopping landlords or businesses from charging more now that everyone knows you have more money.

Like your rent could go up 1000 more when the lease is up. And now that money is basically gone.

So its good income theory but the predatory nature of a lot of people would fuck it up so quick it would make your head spin

I've thought about this, but if anything your rent shouldn't rise for even longer. Landlords are already rich, and they'll be getting the 1000 bucks too, it wouldn't make much sense for your rent to increase when your landlord is getting 12000 a year he doesn't need.

Doesn't look like he'll get much traction, I thought with all the meme and with him being on the jre he's get enough exposure to catapult him forward some.

I don't think there are many users on this site who wouldn't benefit from $1000/month free and clear.
