I do think it would be a bit of a lame move for them to be like "OH WOW JON SURVIVED A DRAGON BLAST oh wait they just stabbed him yawn".

I mean, I can't think that Dany sits there thinking that she is even going to be able to roast Jon in the first place- she knows he's a Targ, and trying to burn him just confirms he's a Targ and gives his claim more credence than "Sam and Bran say he's a Targ."

Also Jon's not immune to fire. He burned his hand in the first season/book.

As far as origins go, I think dark basically meant both tan and mysterious, as in 1600s Europe it would refer to handsome foreigners who were mysterious by nature of being foreign, but also tan by virtue of where they were from (and I suppose dark hair also came with the full package).

But also in early 1900s Amercia, tans became a symbol of attractiveness and a sign of wealth, so that probably factored into more modern usage of the phrase.

Not terribly surprised - seems like it would make sense for Disney to dump all their more adult stuff here, including their entire Fox catalogue, while Disney+ is used for Marvel, Star Wars, Disney and all other general massive hype machines.

They're not segregating Marvel like that, as they already have new shows announced for both platforms.

My only real complaint with how Jaime went out is how he left Brienne. There was really no reason to destroy her like that, and it doesn't mesh up at all with the Jaime that knighted her just two episodes ago. Really all they had to do was have Jaime bring up his unborn child and Brienne would've understood. She'd be sad, but she'd get it.

You can have turn based and still have it look fancy. Like Xenoblade 2 looks like an action RPG, but it really is pretty similar to the ATB system. It's just you can move around and the auto attacks make it look like you're accomplishing something actiony, when really you're still just waiting for your gauge to fill so you can take your real turn.
