Completely optional, but they unlock extra characters and are time-limited. Having played a lot of WoW, 'dailies' are the pits, no fun at all, straight busy work. At first they're okay, give it a week or so, but after that they become very repetitive and begin to snuff out my soul. --- |

But I did, and it did get better. I wouldnt say it was astoundingly better but it was for sure an improvement and I do think what gets added with each play through is worth your time to experience it, especially the very end. --- |

I didn't start the channel as a side hustle, more just a hobby as a superfan, but it's nice to be able to make some cash too. Although I'd still be doing it regardless of revenue. --- |

| Peridiam 06/12/19 4:34:52 PM #471 | I really enjoyed FE7 & 8 on the GBA, but reaaaaaalllllly didn't care for Fates. I trudged through Birthright and then tried to beat Conquest but gave up. Awful story, awful writing, characters were totally whatever. Even though I knew Conquest was the tougher game I decided to start with Birthright to have the difficulty ramp up instead of down, but in the end I didn't have any motivation to move forward. I also wasn't a fan of the fortress building hub. That said this game looks a bit more appealing. :> But I fear the story will be terrible again. Despite having a good concept with 3 different factions, the possibility to be dynamic is there -- I just fear it's gonna be soooo shallow. With dopey character interactions. Gah, Fates is one of my least favorite games. --- |

| Peridiam 05/27/19 11:07:58 AM #20 | Unrelated to Ganons current questions but I bought Gloomhaven about 6 months ago and went all out with a cool box insert. My wife and I played it for about 20 missions before retiring it. It was pretty enjoyable but a bit repetitive, and it took forever to set everything up, even with the organization of the box insert. I still kinda wanna play it but given how heavy of a box it is, it may be better put to use as a way to lift weights and work out. Hope you enjoy it. We apparently picked the worst class combo to start and made it work for us. --- |

| Peridiam 05/17/19 2:27:45 PM #363 | OK, I'm playing this out in my head. Julie goes at F5 given yeah, Chris has his lame EoE idol at F5. Lauren has her idol too. Rick plays his for Gavin. Yikes. At F4, Chris probably still wins immunity. Why not? He definitely battles Rick again and wins, which means we have Chris likely winning over Lauren, with Gavin in third. I gotta imagine several of the Gavin votes go to Lauren now. I'd bet it's closer than 9-4-0 at least, but I'd still say Chris wins if Lauren doesn't play her idol at F6. If Lauren did win the F4 immunity, she probably takes... Gavin? Not sure. If she takes Chris, either Rick wins fire here and wins the game, or Gavin wins fire and then it's a little closer. That would probably be the closest finale we'd get, with Lauren winning the FIC, Chris getting taken, and Gavin winning the FMC. --- |

Final 4 would be her 16th. And if she reaches the final 3 then she'll set the record for surviving the most TC's ever at 16 (record is also 15 by Natalie White & Denise). Rick can tie the first record if he reaches the F3, and tie the second if he wins the season. --- |
