probably the best action scenes since The Raid 2.

And then we get to the raid reunion and it's so much fun.

It's amazing how much effort they put into this clearly silly yet amazing series, I hope it goes on forever if this quality and creativity continues.

your entire cast of Marvel Disney land will support these films btw, yet you cant?.

People just don't read comics anymore. Sometime during the 90s there was a shift and most people just stopped reading them. It's an extreme minority now that knows anything about the source material behind these movies.

That was the exact time the Death of Superman pissed off fans and Marvel raised their prices of their comics. DC and Marvel were almost bankrupted until they decided to try making movies which led to today.

I remember that, the problem I see is Marvel Disney doing too much too fast, slow it down
this guy probably has 20 more years of content and wants to release it all in 5 years, let me see
these actors in other original script films

You make zero sense.

But like...he is. Also lightning and stars only share...heat. It's likely the voltage and nature of lightning is what's hurting him. Not the heat.

Also also, Supes does NOT tank exploding stars. At best he survives them...and is KO'd.

Supes isn't threatened by normal lighting.

I got passed the job of contacting people on our waitlist to try and get them in and fill beds as quickly as possible.

Of the people I've pushed for this week:

One has possibly relapsed and we haven't been able to get ahold of him.

One is in jail and his attorney either can't or won't work out a deal with the state to get him released into our custody, despite everyone else on his side and ours working to get him in.

One came in, was angry that he couldn't smoke on property, did so anyways, and was discharged hours after admission.

One came in after having physically visited us to ask for a bed the day before, and left after about two hours.

One came in after having visited the day before as well, and left almost immediately because we were offering him a bed, not just an assessment, and we couldn't hold his bed for 24 hours.

One came in and has stayed for a few days. So....one out of six.

This is just frustrating :/ I guess we're pulling someone from our detox for a bed now.

Yes. I believe we should have more reasonable restrictions, but making it essentially illegal to own firearms should have punishments.

How do you feel about red flag laws which are already being used in some states? It allows someone to claim that you're unfit to to own firearms, and without even being accused or charged with any sort of crime or having a chance to make your case, the police will be given a warrant to seize your firearms. You then have to make the case that you're fit to own them in order to get them back.

I hate them. Partly because, as you said, a lack of due process, and partly because some of the things they factor into it really should have no relevance and come off as discriminatory, especially in regards to mental illness.

And if a state passes a gun restriction, and others see it as unconstitutional, what should happen? Perhaps... have it overturned and go up to the Supreme Court? I mean, that would be the best way to determine if it should have a legal consequence, correct?

Not everything that the SC vetoes should have legal consequence. Only ones that they determine are a flagrant violation, where the lawmaker knew or should've known it wasn't legal.

Looks interesting though

Probably thinking of The Wickerman

But there have been many movies with this kind of plot

Mysterious pagan community existing in modern age, and outsiders visit and observe a ritual

It was something more recent, but you right, there are many movies with that kind of plot. Maybe it was the Witch, maybe another even more mediocre movie about evil pagan gods >_>

The Endless kind of had a similar vibe and it's recent.

Yeah i was trying to actually look it up, but i dont have much memories of that movie lol maybe it was the Shrine (i edited it in my previous post cause it wasn't the Witch, it was modern times)

Not the Endless, it was about tourists or something coming to some East European (?) village where they encounter the cult

But if they aren't done yet, it's anyone's guess when, if ever, they'll be released.

It wasn't huge, maybe a foot and a half tall. Big enough that I couldn't see it without the backup camera - I would've seen it on there, but I was focusing on the people guiding me :/
