i used to hate coffee and then after following my coworkers to starbucks every day for coffee and getting a mocha, i guess somewhere along the way i learned to love the taste of coffee. I would just get the mocha to fit in but really I just wanted the chocolate and whipped cream... but then one day i realized i was in it for the coffee.

Now I drink coffee every day. I just genuinely like the taste of it. I don't feel any effects of caffeine, so that's not really why I do it (IE it doesn't wake me up or make me feel energized or anything, and I don't feel any negative effects if i stop drinking it for a few weeks.

My office has a Flavia machine and my favourite is the Ethiopa flavour. It's all free so I don't bother getting Tim Hortons or Starbucks or anything, I just take this free stuff at work. There's definitely lots of flavours that I don't like, and I'm not really sure about the lingo or the difference between types. But typically I drink it black. I don't put cream or sugar in my coffee, that just makes it worse.

At home I have a Keurig machine that I use the Kirkland brand coffee from Costco that I like. I put honey i get from a local beekeeper in that stuff so I guess it's not completely black. I'm not really a fan of brewing a pot of coffee. I certainly don't do any of that grinding or pressed coffee or whatever. I'm living a pretty basic instant coffee life.

Also a reason I like coffee is that I find it very satisfying snack wise - it's a calorie free drink that I love the taste of and I feel absolutely no desire to snack or anything within an hour or so of drinking it. Helps a lot with managing my total daily calorie intake if I have one mid morning and mid afternoon.

I haven't watched the newer movies but the original 20 something episode anime is phenomenal.

I've read a bunch of the early manga and watching the anime first makes the reading experience 10x better, definitely at least watch the old anime before attempting to the read the manga. It does things out of order from the manga improves the experience of beginning the manga. It's kind of like a commercial for the manga in a good way.

If people think the movies are better then maybe that's a good alternative to the anime, IDK.

i'm now convinced it's real

when i was a kid, i genuinely believed "guardian" was spelled "gaurdian". "Guard" is "gaurd'. Then one day when I was around 12 suddenly it was guard. I thought someone spelled it wrong and was like "lol that's not right, it's gaurd. It's always been gaurd." but then i checked everywhere and every piece of literature said guard. Even the flying units in Starcraft were Guardians... but I was sure they said Gaurdian before. Gaurd just made more sense to me. If it starts with gua it would be gwardian, like guacamole. but it's more like garden.

Even today, it makes me a little bit uncomfortable to see guardian spelled the way it is. I crossed a world line for sure.

Organizing stuff to move and discarding all the things you don't need is actually a very big job that takes hours and hours.

I always leave it to the last minute but it really does require some proper project planning to make it not a horrible experience.

So would you guys buy this game if you were me?

I've always loved Fire Emblem, starting in 7 through to Radiant Dawn. I got Awakening but played on whatever the highest difficulty to start with is and eventually gave up because i hate same turn acting reinforcements and started a new playthorugh on easy mode that I'm part way through on, but never got through. I still put a bit of time into my playthrough a little every now and then but it's at the back of my mind at this point.

I bought Conquest but haven't touched it. I figured I'd get to it after Awakening.

I don't know anything about this game other than I heard there's a school and that you change classes and stuff and grow your characters a lot more than in other games.

Personally, I love growing characters up. I love taking like a Donnel or an Amelia and saying "come here little one, I will make you a god" and then training them up. I've always been super into any game where I develope characters, like Dragon Warrior Monsters, FFT etc.

But I think stuff like the marrying in awakening is dumb as hell. You pair them up based on some chart of information you would never actually know about from playing the game to get your children the best abilities like Galeforce or whatever the fuck. That shit is dumb as hell and I aint got time for that shit. I'm just going to ship the pairs I want because Gaius and Cordelia look cute together.

Should I buy Three Houses and play it now?

I actually walked away from watching the Adam Ruins Everything segment on the moon landing thinking that his explanation seemed like total BS. It's impossible to make shadows with the technology at the time? Maybe in certain contexts with certain lasers, but I don't think you can definitively say there was literally no way to do it with some other method

He was on Joe Rogan recently and he was REAL shaky on backing it up, like he had zero actual knowledge on the subject and just defaulted to "well the expert I consulted on this said so, I'd have to check what we talked about with him to speak on it more", in which case why is this one expert he talked to so credible and definitive? You just believe that guy was 100% right and put it in your show? Finding one special FX guy that says it's not possible is not definitive proof that it was not possible.

I think he's just humouring us with this phase 4 stuff to begin with. He said a bunch of times that they aren't going to really think of things in phases after phase 3 ends since it's not going to be an ongoing story arc like the Infinity Saga was.

But everyone kept speculating what phase 4 will be about and what movies will be in it, so he called it phase 4, and now people are like "but what's phase 4 and what's phase 5????" so he's just saying "oh yeah this random collection of movies and tv shows is phase 4, deal with it"

if you go around saying "it's humour was pretty bad" or "the next one needs better writers" that's just gonna be objectively wrong

anyways it's curious what will happen with Thor. It's been said that it's up to Gunn if he actually wants to use Thor or not in GotG 3 so it might not even happen, and it's also true that Thor 4 could be about Valkyrie.

Danai gurria would be good but I don't think she's British (zendaya definitely isn't). Keeping bond British is more important than his race or gender imo

yeah, he's got a lot of experience with parks and rec and the office. i kind of feel like a lot of the relationships feel a little cheap because they just "imported" some of those tropes over, but it's fine.

Great movie, really enjoyed it. The Berlin illusions and the scene at the end where he Peter Tingles the fuck out of that hallway were really top tier stuff. Really enjoyed the MJ romance (definitely did not come out of nowhere, it in the first movie even though he was romancing Liz at the time).

My two complaints are

1) High school hi jinks of hiding his identity, Ned and Betty finding their way to the ferris wheel, Peter almost killing Brad etc was pretty weak. It was handled very naturally in Homecoming but they overkilled it here.

2) Peter (and Tony) basically causing major destruction in a major city again. It's the heroes fault way too often in the MCU. Mysterio might be the psychopath with the sunglasses but he wouldn't have it if not for Peter and Tony, so all those deaths are on their hands. I really dislike it when heroes are the cause of damage. Wantonly causing collateral damage is pretty rare in the MCU, thankfully, but this still sucks. Love the EDITH acronym though.

Overall it was very good, I don't think I liked it as much as Homecoming, but that's okay, still a great movie.

It's funny because I watched the trailer and then told my friends that "Nick Fury is actually replaced by the Chameleon, it's not really him, prepare to be shocked by that." and throughout the whole movie I was like "yep, that's definitely not Nick Fury, it's coming any minute now" and then the movie ended and i was like, shit, I guess I was wrong. Who could have guessed that Fury wasn't replaced, he was just written as a stooge? I couldn't have guessed they would do him dirty like that.

THEN IT WAS MOTHER FUCKING TALOS. I felt so vindicated. I was a bit off and it would have been way better for Spider-Man for it to be the Chameleon but oh well, I'll take it.

this chair changed my life (mine's in white). It's the "Classic" DX Racer chair, it's bigger than their main brands and leather. I'll sing this chair's praises until the end of time. I can sit in this thing all day and all night and it never becomes uncomfortable.

I'm not so sure about the more well known version everyone uses. I've sat in them before and they were okay but not nearly as awesome as my Classic chair. But then again I think they were too small for me, so I'm not so sure what it's like if it's the right size. It's super important to get the right size for those ones, which is why there's a million varieties.

I use Mint and it's extremely helpful. I used to do it in excel but it was too much work. Mint gives me all the data in very informative graphs for almost zero effort.

It does a good jobstarkly telling me how I'm eating out too much or I'm buying too many video games or I'm reloading my starbucks card too often or I've signed up for too many monthly subscriptions.

It's like MyFitnessPal with calories- when you have to actually look ati t and acknowledge the choices you make it helps you make better choices. I don't want to look at my mint graphs at the end of the month and be disappointed in myself.

TFT you gotta install league launcher but Underlords is its own game to install, it's not in the dota client.

TFT is definitely item swingy. They are taking steps to add guaranteed drops to reduce the RNG but i think stacking items on carries is way too strong right now anyways.
