That's definitely different. The illustrations are what put the book on the map and made it so popular. What you would of imagined in your head as you read the stories as a kid wouldn't of held a candle to what they actually showed you. Putting those images into play in the story made it horrifying.

The objects in this book are interchangable.

Because despite the small handful of Officers that you hear about on the news that abuse their power, the other 800,000 are actually doing the right thing and arresting criminals in compliance with regulations.

Even if that was true, it's not relevant. You wouldn't have to use self defense against those cops, making them a non factor in this conversation. No ones asking why you can't assault good cops.

No, but my mom pulled a gun on me when she was drunk. I was on the phone with a friend, she wanted to use it, I said hold on and then she showed up with her pistol. Told my buddy I'd call him back then dialed 911. Later in court I lied to get her sentence reduced or whatever. Fun stuff.

When I've seen these topics try to convince me half the people here had a gun in their face at some point in life. With different stories that were straight ripped out of a movie scene. Yes. Very much so.

It would be easier to believe if every other topic wasn't about how someone breathed on them in public and upset them. If you've had a gun in your face and are still complaining about how someone tried to upsell you at Gamestop...you are resistant to gaining perspective on an unworldly level.

Plenty of people get attention without working out tho. While plenty of people work out and don't get positive attention (the manlet meme actually started to make fun of short guys who overcompensate by bulking up huge, for example). At some point you can trace the issue back to innate features we have no control over.

Nope. You're just more attracted to the hateful attention people get. It's obvious anything on the internet comes with those comments. The ones that actually matter will let you know when you're bettering yourself. And I never implied working out was literally the only way to get attention. No idea why you would read what I posted and take it that way. It was just an example and you decided to focus on it fir whatever reason. This topic wasn't even about working out, which should make it even more clear that it was an example.

What do you mean it didn't grow much?

Every single installment has added new playable characters, weapons/abilities, new stories, new enemies and so on.

That's why I edited in "much". Because it's the same building blocks with all that stuff moved around or changed a little but still in the same rhythm as it always was. And that's exactly what a lot of people want from a series. I use to want that. But eventually my tastes changed and I realized it's really boring to me when series don't step out the box enough. Im glad DMC5 satisfied it's fanbase tho. I rented it and couldn't get into it.
