Beat Midgardsormr in 22ish seconds. Can beat him anywhere between 20-26 seconds, mainly thanks to Bartzs awakening. I dont have the Zack chain + murderous Cloud, but Bartz awakening plus USB2/AOSB Cloud has been a nice pairing. Just need to time Rosas USB so that it blocks at least one of the savage abyssal maws. With Bartz awakening, I feel I should be able to beat Ixion relatively easily too. Unsure how hed be against Tiamat, since Id get the spellblade boost, but not the element one

Is it worth it to inherit a blade/spell ward 5 into another one (4* magicite)? Ive got a couple double dampens, and double attack boon and double magic boon, but was unsure if a double blade or spell ward was a good idea.

I just need chains that go with my AASBs (Bartz, Terra, Roxas). No fire, earth, or wind chains. I do have Tiduss Gen 1 water chain though.

Regarding other chains, got Rinoas Gen 1 ice chain, shantottos Gen 1 lightning chain, then both phys and mag Gen 2 dark chains.

Edit: and Irvines FF VIII chain, if that counts.

Another question (sorry, Ill always come up with more lol), regarding magicite inheritance.

I know inheriting another dampen element is definitely a good idea, but is it worth it to inherit an empower on another empower also? I figured Id do it for magic and attack boon. Just trying to figure out how many copies of 4* magicite to farm, current from Isgebind. Can now beat him very consistently at 17-18s thanks mostly to Terras awakening, but him and Maralis are the only 4*s Ive beaten (though I havent tried the others).

If you have no chains you absolutely need to buff him some other way. Either imperiling or Ignis's BSB are your best bets (or Tyro USB4 if you have it).

As far as what you actually do with Bartz:

If you're using him for wind, USB3->AASB will be your best plan.

For the other elements I'd do some testing to see what performs the best between Glint->AASB, enElement BSB->AASB, or USB2->AASB. Probably glint is better when you're short on SB, USB2 if the boss hits you a lot. But I'm just guessing.

Took Terras awakening on a test run against Isgebind. Dead in just under 18 seconds. No chain, just OKs mUSB. Used her USB once too, unsure if the enfires stack, but after that, and using king bomb magicite, meltdowns were hitting for 15k a pop, so 120k per double cast. Godddddaaaammmnnnn

Blue is definitely easier than red. I had major issues with red when I was a kid. Good memories playing that game though, especially those rare times I got to safari zone or indigo plateau.

I bought this game yeeeeeears ago on GBC. Got to where you catch Suicune, then basically stopped. Got it later on PC and such, tried a few times, but never ended up finishing. About a month ago, I saw that I had a save after my 5th badge, said fuck it, and decided to beat it. Beat the E4 a little while ago, but I wanted to get all 16 badges, and beat Red. After a titanic battle last night, which came down to my Kadabra vs Venusaur, I got it done. This is the first pokemon game that I've fully beaten outside of gen 1 (and FR/LG). Was pretty sweet!
