Dart Feld: Low Fodder. Who?

Dog: Mid Fodder. Everyone knows who he is, thanks to Smash, but I don't see why most people in this day and age have reason to care. There's some nostalgia for older users but I don't think it'll be enough for him. He lost big-time to Ryu, L-Block, and Meta-Knight in his one appearance in 2008 - and the L-Block hype train didn't start until AFTER the result of that match. I don't see any justification for anything but Mid Fodder. He can't be Low Fodder because he's in Smash, which gives him an edge against anyone people won't recognize, but he can't be anything higher than that.

Locke: Mid Fodder. He's been in a contest ONCE, and not until 2013. And this was despite him coming in third in an FF6 poll in 2002. Shows how much people care. In that once match, he lost to Ness but beat a joke character nobody cares about anymore (CATS), so I don't think he has a prayer. He's stronger than Dog, but not by much.

DeviantArt users like the one Ermine posted. That one looks like she can get expensive, but that's created with high demand (which happens with the best artists). I have had good experiences with commissions there in the past, but you have to be VERY SPECIFIC and provide photographic reference.

I.E. here's my Leia Rolando commission I got early this year for Lauren Landa (her VA) to sign:


The final product looks about 98% of what I'd wanted in my head. Pretty incredible. And I spent $40 on this whole image! Just browse around for someone who fits the style you're after, check to see if they're accepting commissions + the price, and if they are, awesome!

I'd get a commission for Rayleigh but I'm kinda too unemployed to do that right now.

Sailor Moon: High Fodder. There's that nostalgia for her series, but it's not a commanding nostalgia if you're not ertyu. I think she easily beats any Low or Mid Fodder, especially if listed as Sailor Moon, but people care more for other things.

Leia Organa: Low Midcarder. I think you guys are underrating her. We gave Darth Vader High Midcarder status and Luke Midcarder status. The latter is especially important. Leia is not THAT much weaker than Luke, and she certainly beats the crap out of any level of fodder. I think a large part is Carrie Fisher's passing, which is a boost for her based on her being iconic. I think she has a pretty damn good shot - there's no way she's fodder of any kind. No way.

Greninja: Fodder Line. Greninja is one of the only non-Gen 1 Pokemon that's so popular he will have no problem advancing to the second round, barring a matchup against a heavyweight. It's getting beyond that which is the problem. Greninja was really popular in the anime too, but we've had an entire fucking arc (S&M) since Greninja's been seen, so he's gotten weaker. Still think he has potential, so Fodder Line sounds right.

The worst of my bullying occurred in middle school, though there was some in 4th and 5th grade as well. I was a total Outcast in high school because of all that, but at least that meant I avoided the bullying that went on there.

One of the two that did the worst thing to me almost got expelled when he and a buddy taped up a Coke bottle and put it under a table as a joke. They weren't since it was empty, but that was a hell of an epic day with the bomb squad being called in and all. His friend never graduated and ended up in jail for a bit.

Another apologized at the end of eighth grade - he was encouraged to, no doubt - before going off to another high school. That one I have completely forgiven and hold no ill will toward.

Yet another is a life insurance salesman who tried to rope me into one of his scams on LinkedIn about a year ago. I pretended to bite but after I asked why we had to meet at his office, he realized I'd been playing him and never replied XD

A lot of the other jerks I've long forgotten about. I hold no grudge toward them the way I do the first two, but I look back in solace and know that I ended up better than either of them, and that's good enough.

Could be. But I find it endearing to have characters talk about themselves, even if it's awkward for them (like for mine). It really grants a thought into who they really are, and what they really think about themselves. You can always have them say "Pass" in some shape or form and focus more on the second part of it. But I don't know if that'd go over well...

Gilgamesh: Fodder Line. Has advanced one and a half times (the half being the Rivalry Rumble, but I don't really count that one). He did well in 2013 because of a good draw, but he did get over 50% of the vote in a 3-way and that boosts him. Given the age of his game, I see him staying about where he was before.

Adol: Low Fodder. I don't see much about Ys around here, and I don't think very many people will recognize him.

Ms. Pac-Man: Fodder Line. Pac-Man advanced last year, likely due to the Undertale anti-voters, and narrowly lost to Drake in 2013. I personally see little difference between the male and female variants in terms of contest strength due to the two of them having so little difference in character. We have no true data of Ms. Pac-Man - she's only made a contest once, losing to Mega Man in 2002, long before Mega Man dropped to Near Elite - but I think people just forget to nominate her because they forget she's a different character entirely. If they're reminded, those people might throw her a vote. Enough to barely eke out Fodder Line.

Only if there is a way to ensure a non power school is involved. If it's gonna be the 5 winners and LSU, Georgia, and Auburn every year then forget about it.

It'd be a limit of two teams per conference, to allow for more geographic regions to be represented and to prevent there from being too many rematches. So UCF could have and would have been the 6-seed last year.

They really need to expand the CFP to 8 teams: The 5 conference champions and 3 at-large berths. The committee decides those three teams as well as seeding, meaning it's possible that a weak team like the champ of last year's Pac-12 shitshow could be the 8 seed.

This would prevent the baloney that was omitting both the Big Ten AND Pac-12 entirely. The SEC/ACC bias is disgusting, and I do agree it's sucking all the fun out of the postseason aspect of the sport. Recruits want rings, so they're going to go to schools where they have a chance to get at least one. This means that those schools will keep winning since they get the best guys.

The precedent has been set that there can be two teams from one conference, and I expect that to recur given how the media shows bias toward specific conferences.

To summarize... it came out of nowhere just a couple of weeks ago. From what was said, they found a malignant brain tumor identified as a rare form of cancer that was beginning to spread across his entire body. Scary shit.

Larry: Low Fodder. Don't see how he'd ever get more than 20% of the votes.

E.T.: Mid Fodder. Could manage High Fodder if he got a movie pic. Will get joke votes based on the legend of the Atari game. There's nostalgia for the movie, too, seeing as I remember going to see it as a kid for one of those rereleaases, but yeah, I don't see anything from the game inciting that nostalgia.

Bahamut: High Fodder. Recognizable given how many FF games he's appeared in, but doesn't have any character development. A lot of the FF fanboys will vote for him unless he's up against someone like Yuna, but I don't see him getting votes from anyone else.

Yeah, I know to pitch characters to agents/publishers, you don't use their voice. But to make your character most appealing to your audience, you have to get them to connect to them.

I edited the hell out of Rayleigh's bio and might've hurt myself - when talking about herself, she doesn't sound as smart as she actually is. That's a weakness of hers. I wanted to make that known, while making it still clear that she's smart (she graduated from college a semester early), and making it clear that she doesn't take enough care of herself (which her new boss is trying to get her to work on, could've added that). Ah well, can always change it (editing bios is allowed but has to be done before the first match btw).
