Growing up, went to a lot of Padres games with my dad and my uncle, and my wife won Chargers tickets at work for their home opener a couple of seasons before they moved to L.A. Been to a good amount of concerts, my favorites being Black Sabbath at the Hollywood Bowl during their farewell tour, and Motorhead at the House of Blues in 2010.

Kid Icaurus. I know it had a bit of a rebirth in 2012, but they randomly made it a shooter instead of an action/adventure game like the original.

If a guy drops an N bomb on someone once, he'll do it again. My brother's fiancee flat out quit a job when she was sent on an errand to get some ice, and walked back in to the kitchen JUST in time to hear the dude say "Where the hell is that N***** with that ice I sent her to get?" she was just like "Yeah, I'm done here" dumped the ice out and walked off.

She's just been trying to undermine the party ever since she got all mad at Hillary.

After a few "monster of the week" episodes it circled back to the main overarching plot in Chapter 7, calm your tits.

Governors are the executive level of each state. The Senators are part of the federal government, but there are also state senates under the governor.

I don't know what happened, but it's like that video of a kid crying about being bullied went viral, and then it came out that he was "bullied" because he was a little jerk and would do shit like drop N bombs at school and it caught up to him.

I wouldn't say it sucks, but Megaman 2 took everything that worked for the original game and made it better.

Mass Effect is still one of my all time favorite game series. It also has a special spot in my heart because my wife and I met because she mentioned she liked Mass Effect and Dragon Age in her online dating profile.

Oddly enough, the only time I've ever been in a union was when I was working part time at the student book store at the community college I went to. As technically I was an employee if the San Diego Community College District, I was in their union. It was ok I guess. Current place of employment treats us really well, so luckily we have good ownership that actually values worker morale.

In the ALttP player's guide they made a story reason for the hand switch: in Hyrule there's a superstition where you always have your shield facing Death Mountain.

Origins gets shit for not really doing anything better than City, compared to the leap from Asylum to City. Still really fun.

Let's not forget about the strange "yarn" phase they went through with those Yoshi and Kirby games.

I don't mind there being family-friendly games for kids and adults who love bright colors and childlike aesthetics........but I really wish Nintendo would make some darker experiences for other gamers.

Astral Chain and stuff like that is a step in the right direction, but as of right now....all the good mature games on Nintendo....are ports from the other consoles.

I give Zelda a pass since it's a remake of a great game. My problem with Yoshi isn't the look, it's the gameplay itself, and the BotW sequel looks like it'll have a similarly dark tone as BotW.

I mean, they are. Sometimes they hit the "family" vibe just right with things like Super Mario Odyssey, and the n sometimes its just a little TOO kiddie like the new Yoshi game. I was excited to try it, but it's very very very easy and just didn't seem to have much depth to it compared to things like Odyssey, who I got bored. A small child would probably dig it though.

I'm 39. A woman half my age is 19, going on 20. Wonky, but at least shes an adult. A woman 3 times my age would be 117 years old.

I got an Xbox One pretty early on, and the controller definitely had battery slots. Everyone just buys rechargeable battery packs to put in there though.

The Tomb Raider games are pretty fun. They were pretty much timed exclusives for Xbox. The single player mode for WWE 2k19 is decent as well.

The thing is, stuff like "Joker" is cool, but it seems like almost everything that's supposed to be part of the interconnected DCU has been of pretty shit quality, except "Wonder Woman". "Avengers:Endgame" is a great comic book movie. "Joker" is a great movie that happens to have some comic book characters in it. It's apples to oranges.

The bodycam footage is pretty damning. Dude is skulking around on a welfare check instead of you know, knocking on the door, then when she goes to a window he yells "Hands up!" and like, immediately opens fire before she even would have had a chance to comply.

I mean Christopher Reeve is the standard still. That being said, Tyler Hoechlin, who plays him on Supergirl is great in the role. He brings a similar warmth to the character that Reeves did.

I will never understand how some people play games their whole lives yet lack the hand eye coordination to wiggle a remote.

Personally I'm missing a hand, so the nunchucku was a hassle, to say the least.

Twilight Princess was a better experience on the Gamecube. I mean, unless you like everything mirrored and gimmicky motion controls I guess.

You can pretty much spot the virgin if they get turned on by some hentai inspired thing.

As someone who spent 175+ hours with Odyssey and the DLC, enjoying it for the most part, RDR 2 > Odyssey.

No idea how much I played RDR 2 because there's no hour counter as far as I could tell, but I played a ton of RDR 2. Game is phenomenal.

Odyssey is fun, but RDR 2 is on a higher level of fantastic. Not sure where you get the notion that Rockstar doesn't support their singleplayer. They shipped a complete experience whereas Ubisoft shipped a game where you couldn't experience the full story without purchasing DLC add-ons...

If RDR 2 was made by Ubisoft, the long ass epilogue would be DLC.

RDR2 was like my most anticipated game of the decade, so yeah, that was a gimme. I really enjoyed Assasins Creed: Odyssey but I still haven't picked it back up since RDR2 hit. I should probably finish that.

Prime Simpsons, in my opinion, is the greatest show in television history. That being said, South Park has managed to stay funny and relevant for 20 years now, so it eventually had an overall better body of work, since Simpsons has been shit for nearly 20 years.

It has that "It's different from other Zeldas!" issue as ALttP went back to the original style and the series went down that path, so it was an evolutionary dead end of the series that stuck out more and more as time went by. From 1988-1991 I don't recall many people shitting on it as being bad, just that it was hard. Once ALttP came out though, it seemed to get crapped on more and more.

Outer Worlds. Been stoked about this game awhile now.
