It was frustrating and kind of annoying that they did that just to prolong the Jane and Rafael rift. The actor knocked it out of the park though all things considered. | saspa 05/29/20 6:50:05 PM #17 | See, I was hoping they'd do something like, he'd want to rule the universe, with an iron fist, so that he can end all wars and "suffering" and whatnot, by having people bow to him and no longer fight or I dunno. Might seem like a retread of what Loki wanted but it's the only thing that would have made sense for someone with such a huge army conquering worlds. Why else would you conquer worlds if not to rule. Even in DC's equivalent Darkseid has a better goal, the whole anti-life equation thing (which apparently is basically mind control/becoming a slave to Darkseid's will?) It sounds ridiculous enough without being lame like Thanos's thing, and something that's threatening enough to get a whole bunch of heroes to team up and fight him over. --- |

| saspa 05/29/20 6:30:59 PM #5 | Zikten posted... well even in the comic it's based on, he didn't want to rule the universe. in the comics, he was in love with the cosmic manifestation of the concept of Death basically. who in that story was depicted as a woman. and he was so obsessed with her he thought if he killed enough people maybe she would pay attention to him. I kinda wish they had stuck with that motivation and we got to see Death even. but she probably would look silly in live action. and I think most MCU viewers would not like that storyline. it worked in the comic but might not have worked in a movie I would have been fine with that, sounds much better, more comic booky and less "weird poorly thought out real life allegory". Just put a blonde wig on a robed skeleton and it works. --- |

Never mind that in a few years, the population will increase again" What even was that? 10 years of waiting and that's the sympathetic villain angle they went with? --- |

| saspa 05/29/20 5:46:22 PM #1 | They ended the whole Rose thing pretty quickly and haphazardly for an international crime lord with supposedly tons of minions but it's fine the show has never been about that, and the cheesy way they end it works in the show's favor. Lots of homages to telenovelas and all. I was happy at the reveal over who the narrator was. I suspected it a while ago and was delighted that the finale confirmed it! --- |

Drop rate was only 5% and I was worried I'd be there for the long haul and have to set up a gambit for it but on the 5th try I got it and was so excited I had to save immediately. Luckily that just requires entering/exiting an area for autosave. I tell you, the quality of life additions in FF 12 are pretty much a big reason why I'm having so much fun with it. Quadruple speed, autosave, little additions and changes here and there... it's the best way to play the game. --- |

I always felt Gargoyles should have launched a massive franchise. it had so much potential for spin offs and movies, and video games and comics. it really should have been bigger than it was. I was obsessed with this show as a kid and bought so many action figures of the gargoyles in both their stone phase and regular, and I can't believe that it turned out to not be that successful, with very few people knowing of it. Disney wanted it to be as big as Batman the animated series, to have their own dark and mature show, which is the only reason they gave greg weisman a chance. But the show really deserved so much better, I don't understand why so many didn't watch it. --- |

Comedy is so much harder to pull off than the grimdark crap of games nowadays (it's harder for all types of entertainment media) so games can be excused for not having it because hell, we just want an actual fun game that plays well just as a start. --- |

I had no idea what I was in for so by the end when everything was revealed, the overwhelming incest angle the movie had, I was like wtf. Why. Saw it like 7 or 8 years ago and it's probably the only Korean movie I watched and will watch if that's what the genre is like. I remember the reason I knew about it was because of a topic about great fight scenes in movies and the hallway scene was pretty well touted. And it was pretty impressive, especially for its time. But I was not prepared for bizarre incest and tongue cutting and so much uncomfortable stuff. --- |

Pull inward works better than pull outwards for restrooms because you can push with your shoulder on the way in and pull with a paper towel on your way out. Actually I was told it's "better" for safety reasons, in that when you open the door inward you won't accidentally hit someone as opposed to a door that pushes out. Not sure I agree with their explanation but fine, whatevs. I already do the "open with paper towel" thing as well and have also always thought that it's better to have the trash can near the door so I can throw it immediately after using it to open the door. But at the same time, like 80% of places don't have paper towels anymore due to it being wasteful and 100% of bathrooms in Europe don't have paper towels anymore. --- |

I don't even know how to describe it. They sting (I assume) the grasshopper and then move around with it. Like the black wasp thing is on top of the grasshopper (who I can't imagine is still alive) and kind of puppets it around. It was the most terrifying thing I'd ever seen as it looked straight out of a horror movie or re4. I don't even understand what it was doing or why. --- |

I'm playing it on ps4, but it's the best time to play it now because they released an update where you could change your job any time you want and as much as you want. I can't even imagine being stuck with the first job you chose because I kept changing jobs over and over, unsure what to pick. Heck I'm still not 100% happy with my job choices but got tired of constantly resetting gambits and license points so I'm just gonna stick with them until the end of the game or until a superboss requires a change. I didn't do most marks the first time around and this time I want to do them all, especially super marks. --- |
