States can sue other states, yes, but typically this is a mechanism for injunctions/determination of rights (see the various disputes between my home of Nebraska and our neighbor states regarding the Ogallala Aquifer).

I'm not sure if there would be any remedy for the responses to the outbreak, and so I'm not inclined to think a suit like this would go anywhere. It would also be antagonistic and probably the literal worst possible method to compel particular action.

Here's something I found, with a relevant snippet (I think) to the OP:
https://law.justia.com/constitution/us/article-3/29-suits-between-two-or-more-states.html
[The Supreme Court] indicated that jurisdiction of suits between states will be exercised only when absolutely necessary, that the equity requirements in a suit between states are more exacting than in a suit between private persons, that the threatened injury to a plaintiff state must be of great magnitude and imminent, and that the burden on the plaintiff state to establish all the elements of a case is greater than the burden generally required by a petitioner seeking an injunction in cases between private parties.

Just wrapped up first jaunt. Opted for Nightmare first, which... wasn't awful, but there are definitely times that I felt like I got RKOed out of nowhere.

Not sure how I feel about the Icon of Sin. Once it got to the point where I didn't need to worry about getting all of my blood punched out randomly, it felt really fucking grindy. That you're given unlimited Crucible and blood punch charges just cheapens things, since it was basically unload with chaingun, chainsaw fodder for ammo, Crucible the Baron and Revenant when in need of health, unload some more with chaingun, and repeat until dead. Wish Icon was a more involved fight.

It is illegal to prevent the people from not being able to assemble. I know noone wants to have that conversation because COVID-19, but I mean, there it is, plain as day, 1st amendment.
Current jurisprudence is that the rights conferred by the Bill of Rights are not absolute, but rather that restrictions placed upon are reviewed with varying levels of scrutiny based upon the state action in question, the justification for the state action in question, and the costs associated with said action in terms of abridging aforementioned rights.

This is most notorious with the "shall not be infringed D:<" crowd, who have likely never looked into any actual law on the matter.

Can't even name any laws it would violate though :/
It's not a matter of any statutes that it would violate, because there are no statutes that govern the interpretation of federalism issues. Traditionally, issues of public health and whatnot are within the sole jurisdiction of the states, as a part of the foundation of federalism.

As to whether this crosses into a matter that the feds can override the states on, I don't know. Constitutional doctrinal concerns such as these are wishy-washy at best and depend heavily on the times in their outcomes as far as any court decisions would go.

Been on a binge of 90s shooters lately and just finished a romp through the big three Build Engine games.
