I have the same problem, I don't like dismissing people right off the bat because I'm not a massive wannabe cool kid or some loser desperate to big time people because my fragile, worthless ego needs a boost. But sometimes people are socially inept but awesome once you get to know them, sometimes they're fucking complete douchers who will never catch a fucking hint. It's a double edged sword, but on balance I'd rather meet cool socially inept people at the expense at having to tell a few douchers that they smell like dead bodies but are significantly less interesting, so kindly fuck off and die.I don't attract those people.
