Oh, the lag is often and noticeable, don't let any fanboys tell you otherwise. However, it's insignificant enough that it doesn't affect playability at all, if you know what I mean. It never hinders your ability to move or execute combat.

I like it. It fixes the major flaw the original had, which is an annoying as hell to traverse overworld. They added more warp points to fix retreading boring tiles over and over, and making it seamless cut out the tile transitions that made said traversal a little jarring.

The dungeon creator is nifty. I still need to do a second, minimalist playthrough so that I can make challenging dungeons.

Yeah Skyward Sword was built around motion controls, and most of it is more fun with it. Just make flying and swimming normal controls, and maybe a couple items. but keep using gyro for the sword and bombs and whatnot. People only hate motion controls out of "principle" instead of judging them based on quality. Like, in botw gyro controls are 100x better for aiming.

Reminds me of the action replay codes to play the DS games with button controls. People hated stylus controls aso they created a way to play with buttons, but the stylus controls ended up being superior anyway

It's like over-extending or over-compensating where a happy medium would be more appropriate. Which if you're doing that, you're most likely going to suck at what you set out to do.

Maybe a little different as an example.. When I was still in college in the case of projects/assignments without page requirements I'd always go way over what was expected to the point that it annoyed some professors. I was trying too hard, over-extending myself and over-compensating for my insecurities. It would have been ideal to go for the medium but over-extending wasn't inherently failing on what I set out to do as it didn't harm my marks. What it was though was a waste of energy and time I think.

I lived in England for a couple of years and speeding on their roads is actually a big deal. A ton of the roads are narrow as hell, not straight, lined by tree walls and deep ditches, and have a ton of blind turns. Not going the speed limit carries a lot more risk as opposed to the states where going 60 in a 50 might just get you a warning because you can see everything for miles.

I like how wind in your face is a downside of flying, but you don't take into account the air pressure and equilibrium changes from teleporting across the world. If you teleported between two floors of you house your ears would pop, imaging the pain from when you teleport somewhere with hundreds of feet of a difference in elevation.

Teleportation is a to pick of mine though. I'd take (good) time manipulation or high end shape shifting over it though.
