You can't please everyone no matter what you do. There will always be someone upset about what the government did or didn't do. That said, there are countless lives at stake here, so the longer we can stave off the spread via social distancing, the better.

A lot of people in places where it's not so bad yet don't seem to realize that the whole reason for distancing is to keep it that way. It'd be like if you have to walk through a thorn bush and you say "what do I need this heavy coat for? I'm not cut up yet."

I'm getting worried myself. I have an increasingly sore throat. It's not really truly sore though, just mildly irritated.

I don't really have the other symptoms except a runny nose, and that's only in the morning when I'm out in the cold (and it may just be my allergies).

I never stopped liking the game, but I just couldn't deal with all the technical difficulties anymore. I do like being free of the game though - I walk a lot and normally I'd have the phone glued to my face, but ever since I stopped playing I've noticed I often make entire trips without ever taking my phone out of my pocket.

My problem is more with DS or 3DS games that try to utilize the microphone. It's so awkward getting to those points in games when I am out in public. I'm looking at you, Phantom Hourglass and Spirit Tracks.

On the rare occasion that you come across such moments in public, you can just blow into the mic.

What about Pokestops and gyms though? You can't hit Pokestops, battle in gyms or raids, or earn coins at home (or even get a lot of steps in, unless you have a treadmill or pace in circles). This problem isn't going away anytime soon either.

It's hard to gauge because the 2 sides don't balance each other out. The people acting all hysterical and buying up everything in sight are idiots, but the people who say it's nothing to worry about are equally as bad.

I think it should be approached with optimistic caution. As I'm young and fairly healthy, I'm not overly concerned, but my parents are pretty much the ideal candidates for getting wrecked by it so I'm more vigilante for their sakes.

Employer - nothing, business as usual

City - canceled all events with 50 or more people, and a few businesses have closed

State - not much. The governor called a state of emergency, but then tweeted a pic of his family eating out at a restaurant. (Several people expressed approval and called those concerned about the virus "snowflakes." I don't even know what that's supposed to mean in this context.)
