Just passing on what I heard.. nah they asked the main devs Matsuda and ohmori if it was and they kinda avoided the question implying that it probably wasnt. |

If ff9 had ff10s combat itd be a near perfect game. |

Im not a writer so I cant pinpoint why, but I can definitely say that the story isnt as enjoyable now as it was for me then. |

The biggest issue with 10 is the unholy grind required for the late game content. nah the slow ass dialogue, awful cutscene direction and badly aged story are all issues with the game. the environments still look good even if they are linear as hell and I really like the combat though. |

| The_Freecs 02/15/20 7:43:48 PM #1 | Tried going through some ps2 jrpgs I had no nostalgia for. Tried shadow hearts 2, star ocean 3 and a few others. Did I really used to think games like these were good? From plot induced stupidity, to incredibly slow combat, tedious dungeon designs, random encounters and cringey ass dialogue. I think a lot of people are blinded by nostalgia tbh. Outside the kingdom hearts titles, mainly due to their awesome combat, these games really dont hold up. anyone else feels this way? |
