It still sort of ghost tingles now and then if I focus on it, but otherwise I've got good feeling in it now. A mix of a misguided sense of justice and having seen his parents murdered in front of him as a child has caused him to decide that he cannot judge if anyone is worthy of death or not. Joker and Batman are also sort of mirror images of each other. Batman refuses to kill for previously stated reasoning, and Joker is basically an avatar of chaos, killing for no reason other than chaos. It's part of why they more than any other Batman villian, possibly even more than any other comic book hero villain combo, have such chemistry and depth between them.
