You've created two success outcomes. 1.) that thing x happens 2.) that thing x happens exactly y times in z attempts. if you were only doing 1 it would be relevant, since you aren't, it isn't and it isn't any probability bullshit, it's as others explained to you, changing Z is determining the chance of exactly y happening. --- If you do things right, people won't be sure that you have done anything at all. It's a protest against police violence that is disproportionately targeted at minorities and African american males especially. it's pretty clear at this point training is not sufficient. PoE is fundementally fucked with their decision to leave trade in the stone ages. Also since each update they need to add new currency to sell more stash tabs there is so much bloat. There's a lot of illusion of choice, but it's just make the cookie cutter choice or end game content is locked off to you. Though if you are going to no life and put 150+ hours into a season, PoE is the far better choice. End game and End game activities are better. Just accept of that 150 hours, you're probably going to spend 20 of them price checking and whispering players to make a trade who won't say anything back. And likewise ignoring other's whispers because it's not worth slowing down to say sorry busy for low value trades. You'll also want to spend $20-50 during a stash tab sale if you're going to play anything above casually. You need a premium stash tab to trade with any efficiency, you'll want a currency and map stash tab. And a quad stash is helpful for end game. You'll likely want somewhere between 3-7 extra stash tabs, with premium preferred. D3 has better gameplay, but itemization is pretty simple. Get set item. Make set item Ancient. Potentially move to Ancient no set set. But you'll pretty much always feel strong and you'll just ratchet up the difficulty as you go along. Smart drops and the paragon system makes it so there is always a viable carrot to chance. Which is my second biggest problem with PoE. You will almost never get a viable upgrade dropped for you. What you'll get is something worth enough currency to trade for someone else to upgrade then you can trade to upgrade yourself. It's simply not as satisfying getting someone else drop. And the price to get upgrades doesn't really grow linearly, so you can go several days of playing 3-5 hours a day, and still be unable to afford an upgrade. --- If you do things right, people won't be sure that you have done anything at all. But it looks like an ugly station wagon designed to make people who like mustangs angry and people who like electrics angry. I'm sure i will at some point go electric, it's the inevitable future.
