There should be a bulletin board in town with sidequests. Take those on to explore a bit and gain some XP. There are things called 'Places of Power' that will give you a skill point when you find them, make sure you get all of them on each continent.

You get new armor and weapons from drops, chests, merchants or crafting. Potions you have to find recipes for and then craft.

Because every day spent trying to ensure that someone "undeserving" doesn't get money from this is a day closer to "deserving" people having bills due.

shrug. unemployment requires verification before you receive benefits. expedite the unemployment applications and extend the benefits to anyone whose employment compensation was negatively impacted by the pandemic.

at least the stimulus is limited to people based on income levels. but it still feels awfully wasteful to give someone receiving their normal $75k/year salary with no added risk etc $1200.

Sure is shitty to tell essential personnel who are the most at risk that they dont deserve anything

the point of the money is to stimulate the economy and help alleviate economic pressure caused by the current crisis. this isn't about compensating folks for risk -- the doctors who make >$100k but are risking themselves and working extra long hours aren't going to see a dime.

im completely on board with assisting folks who are out of work or have reduced hours due to the pandemic. but a white collar worker like me who is safe at home and receiving a normal paycheck does not need any money. that's what i take issue with.
