I wonder if I've still been tagged as a 2016 welcher by the illiterate who saw one post and then completely disregarded the follow up shortly after that (and hours before the results rolled in) where I said regardless of how the election turns up I wasnt gonna close my account. Well before tonight, teleworking was voluntary (I've been doing it since last Monday afternoon) and we could go to the office if we wanted to even though pretty much nobody would be there except the essential workers.

Now all of our sites have been shut down and the guards will turn away anyone who approaches. I don't know why I felt a little blip of dread from reading that announcement, but this is gonna be a loonnnng month (or more).

Damn I've been living under a rock and stopped keeping up to date with corona news over the weekend to change up the gloom and doom tone while being stuck inside for a week now (other than quick trips to the grocery store)

I didn't actually think things would get worse but Maryland is shutting down nonessential businesses at 8pm tonight. Also I had a notary do a home visit today to finalize my mortgage refinancing and that dude, easily 60s+, was super paranoid about social distancing. There's not a lot of space to work with in my place and at times it seemed like he was offended when I got too close to him >_>

I think it's the part about China trying to blame the US Military for starting the virus outbreak though I don't know the originating source for that so it could just be standard Trumpism

They did have a propagandist do that in response to the US calling it the wuhan or china virus

Someone at our main work site tested positive for the virus yesterday. People travel between there and where I work constantly, including my boss who was at both places yesterday. Most of our workforce is 50+ years old just from eyeballing it
