Because of the lockdown everyone was told to use Teams, and it didn't take long before people started trying to chat at me for help on it. Then I have to be a dick and nip it in the bud telling them this isn't what Teams is for, submit a request to the help desk system. Some of them get all huffy and puffy about it "why do I have to do that when this is easier" and I have to tell them we have established processes that they're not following and it would be chaotic for IT people if everyone is chatting at them all the time with problems instead of using the ticket system. It's a fucking hassle out there.
