there is no set definition as to what a "living wage" means. you get numbers all over the place from $80k living in new york to $12k living in michigan. what also goes into being "livable"? some say being able to afford a place to live and food for those in that place while others think it also means factoring in a tv, internet, cellphone, healthcare, vehicles and general insurances.

one train of thought is to regularly shoot what you plan to carry so you will be used to the higher recoil and control needed which can throw people off. It can be a bit jarring to make fallow up shots going from weak ass 800fps training ammo to something like 1100fps +p underwoods. realistically though it would be too expensive so most tend to go with a middle ground with something like federal hst's so they can atleast train with it a little more.

as far as reloading id personally consider investing in a cheap little setup just in case. ammo right now is getting very difficult to find and probably will be for the next 12-18 months (considering whats going on now AND that theres a election coming up. double kick in the ass). ammo is just way to volatile in this country especially with all the political bullshittery surrounding everything. itd be nice to know you have something to fall back on if things get really bad.

If you want something with some serious punch try underwood, cor-bon, buffalo bore or black hills, but realistically most types of hallow point +p ammo is going to do the job. unlss your going to use it for bear defense i woudlnt get too hung up on it and use what you can find.

Ok but the shutdowns in place are literally limiting our 1st Amendment rights. Does that mean nothing should be shut down and large gatherings allowed?
limiting=/=completely cutting off.

you still have the first amendment in other ways. in places like california there is NO limit on the 2nd, its completely cut off with no way to legally aquire a firearm.
TopicShould I get MGV GZ and PP for $6?

GZ is a prologue to TPP so its fairly short at ~60min. the main game, TPP can be exhaustively long depending on how much its systems get their hook into you, how you play and how much extra stuff you want to do. not even including the online stuff.

main story ~ 30-40hours
main+side missions ~ 80-100hours
"everything" ~ 200+ hours
i put everything in quotes because if you do play online they constantly refresh minor objectives and rewards to keep you playing tho the main meat of the game can be seen without going online.

its got a few serious core faults in that the quests are pretty generic and copy paste affairs as well as most of the enemies you fight. the backtracking can get extremely tedious since quicktravel is severely limited and while the story eventually gets bonkers it takes FOREVER to get interesting (im talking 3/4ths of the way through the game).

that said its got great character customization and allows for a lot of different character classes. the combat is fantastic for pretty much everything as is the sense of movement which is a rare thing in most rpg's (and comes off as more of an action game a lot of times). music is good, boss battles are incredible (and is considered to have one of the best "final" boss battles put into a game). its online features are unique, its got a lot of replay value and the world feels hand crafted and lived in.

for the most part the game relies on its combat, but its also one of those things where its highs are so astronomically high that it helps you forget about a lot of its more serious lows.

rock islands are very solid guns for the money, SDS as well assuming you arnt going to put 10s of thousands of rounds through them(if you are its best to replace some of the parts). as far as 10mm and .45 you are asking during a massive ammo panic right now where 10mm is a little easier to find than 45. personally im a traditionalist, 1911's are 45's. if you want to go 10mm you might as well play to that rounds strengths and maximize its firepower with a glock 20 or EAA, something that holds a lot of rounds.

if this is your first 1911 then id start cheap and get something you can learn on and move up from there. if its not then id skip the bullshit and go straight to a dan wesson specialist which youll probably end up getting anyway if you like the platform some time down the road. superb gun as well.

in terms of whats happening right now many administrations would do similarly regardless of what trump did to the cdc or the week slower response time. the reality is NO administration is going to be fully prepared for a pandemic of potentially hundreds of millions of people. no system in the world can handle that. the problem is trumps personality is not suited to this and is further hurting things. when EVERYONE is on a hair trigger you can not mix up your words, you can not forget things and you cant make little jabs. its just going to make everyone even more uneasy, dems or repubs and they are going to act accordingly like panic buying everything and checking out of the stock market.

Restrictions. Not a repeal of the Second Amendment. Big difference.

there is no real end to restrictions. thats the problem and has been shown on a state by state bases and country by country bases over and over and over again. a UBC turns into red flag laws turns into magazine limits, turns into waiting periods turns into purchase limits turns into licensing, turns into registrations turns into a plethora of mandatory checks and taxes and it just keeps going and going and going and WILL keep going until the process to get one is so convoluted and such a burden on the individual that they wont bother. "we dont want to repeal the 2nd or take away your guns", no many just want it to be as difficult as possible for everyone to exorcise a constitutional right (which might include you being able to own a musket and nothing else) which funny enough those with the power and money arnt going to be bothered by or effected.

once something happens involving guns (and it will) there is ALWAYS talk of more restrictions because "we have to do something!" despite that something not even having anything to do with what sparked that initial talk. hell you had the AU government installing more restrictions on their citizens who were largely already pacified specifically of what happened in the US during the vegas shooting. they are just foaming at the mouth to take away peoples guns.

Dark_Spiret
03/12/20 10:12:24 PM

the actual percentage is going to be exceptionally lower than that. its easy to calculate deaths. its not easy to calculate whos actually infected without testing literally everyone. chances are most people who are infected dont know they are actually infected with the virus and treat it and get over it like they would any other illness and tough it out without going to the doctor. everyone does it all the time. if 100000 are known infected and there are 3000 deaths then it might be closer to 300000 infected and yet the deaths still stay the same. the ratio goes down significantly.
