Damn this really could've been a fun November. McGrath already lost a more democratic subsection of Kentucky in 2018 so I have zero faith in her to pull this out and get those Booker voters. There are people with 9 to 5 jobs, so that's cutting things EXTREMELY close. Polling places in Connecticut are open until 8 PM, which is far more reasonable to give plenty of time to people who have work and can't necessarily take it off, even though they're legally allowed to. ^ This is horrendously early, yep. Again though, if anything I think Kentucky did a better job at curbing voter suppression this year than they have in other years. No excuse absentee voting is a huge step forward and something I hope they maintain going forward. Shrinking the polling places is obviously less than ideal, but I at least understand the logic of it in the midst of a pandemic. It is something I hope they rectify in November unless they have a similarly aggressive vote by mail campaign. I just beat Hell House which I was dreading but it actually didn't take me too long now that I have a good understanding of the battle system. I lost twice but the first time was because I was caught totally off guard by the Tonberries and the second time was because I wasn't playing attention and got Chef Knive'D in the back and then got stunned a couple of times while I was trying to use Arise. Everything I read indicates this was a compromise between the governor and Secretary of State so Beshear likely had to make these concessions to get everything else he wanted. But if youre worried about the pandemic it makes more sense to keep more places open so people who want to vote in person arent waiting bunched together in huge groups. I mean a lot of what was done is very very good but were still going to look at the one bad thing to come out of it and try to make sure it gets fixed by the general election. --- Moops? But there is (or was) a large contingent of online followers that thought he was smart and woke because he talked about fringe conspiracy stuff sometimes. He talks like he knows what he is talking about, regardless of how ill informed he is and that carries weight with some people who like to think they are smart and never bother to look things up or fact check anything. Luckily, I've started seeing more actual backlash recently because all of his COVID idiocy.
