"Apparently, the cars camera system was recording despite not being activated for an incident (typically cameras are recording at all times but will not keep the recordings unless an officer triggers the system).

After skipping through the video, which was largely video of his backseat, she found a conversation between Piner and Corporal Jessie Moore a police officer with the department since 1997.

She reviewed the conversation she heard comments, extremely racist comments made by both Piner and Moore, according to a summary provided by police.

The video also recorded a conversation with Officer Gilmore who apparently had pulled up next to Piners car.

Both conversations were explicit and racist in content.

Their conversation eventually turned to the topic of the protests against racism occurring across the nation. Piner tells Gilmore that the only thing this agency is concerned with kneeling down with the black folks. Gilmore then said that he watched a video on social media about white people bowing down on their knees and worshipping blacks,' according to the summary.

The conversation then turned to other police officers in the Wilmington Police Department black officers.

The audio has Piner calling one of the officers bad news and a piece of shit.

Lets see how his boys take care of him when shit gets rough, see if they dont put a bullet in his head, Piner said about a fellow officer.

The second of the two conversations that day happened after Piner received a phone call from Moore.

According to the summary, Moore began telling Piner about an arrest he had made at work the day before. During that conversation, Moore refers to the female as a negro and a ni- on multiple occasions.

He also referred to a magistrate judge, who is also black, as a fucking negro magistrate.

At one point, Moore states, she needed a bullet in her head right then and move on. Lets move the body out of the way and keep going. Piner responds, Thats what I have been trying to tell you,' according to the documents.

After more derogatory comments about the arrestee and the magistrate, the conversation takes an even bleaker turn, as the two officers discuss an upcoming civil war.

Piner tells Moore later in the conversation that he feels a civil war is coming and he is ready. Piner advised he is going to buy a new assault rifle in the next couple of weeks. A short time later Officer Piner began to discuss society being close to martial law and soon we are just gonna go out and start slaughtering them fucking ni. I cant wait. God, I cant wait. Moore responded that he would not do that. Piner stated, I am ready.' according to the summary.

Officer Piner then explained to Cpl. Moore that he felt society needed a civil war to wipe em off the fucking map. Thatll put em back about four or five generations.'"

I mean, I don't know all the surrounding circumstances, but yeah I think he should have been. When he grabbed him by the arms, I think he could have mentioned about having a warrant for arrest. Asking if he was the person. And at the point the other cop could have been like, this isn't the same guy.

I could understand grabbing him by the arms if you reasonably thought he was someone you had a warrant for. If you have a warrant for someone, you can expect they reasonably are evading the law (though you can get warrants for simple shit like just unpaid fines or something or missing a court date you didn't know about).

I can't understand really not stating what he was doing it for and then bodyslamming him.

Were all 3 fired or just 2 of the 3? The internal affairs case says it was substantiated for the 2 but unfounded for the 3rd.

Looking at the Kentucky primary numbers

Lots of counties aren't reporting any numbers yet, including Jefferson (Louisville)

Fayette (Lexington) has reported in-person numbers though, and Booker won that count 3 to 1, 75% to 25%

In total count, McGrath is leading Booker by about 4,000 votes

An overall difference of 4,000, with Lexington showing a 3-to-1 landslide for Booker, and Louisville currently reporting 0 votes so far...

If they announce anything other than Booker winning in the next week, Louisville probably will burn. It would be extremely shocking to me to see any other result

for reference, 25% of Kentucky's population is in those two counties (with Jefferson having 2.5x as many as Fayette)

NYT/Siena (A+ rated pollster on 538) did a whole bunch of polls, nationally and in battleground states. They've been releasing them the past few days. This morning they dropped their battleground state batch and... lol

PA: Biden +10 (Biden at 50)
FL: Biden +6
AZ: Biden +7

They also polled a lot more than just the presidential race.

Across those 6 states:

Trump's approval: 42-54 (-12)
63% say they would rather back a presidential candidate who focuses on the cause of protests, even when the protests go too far against 31% who say they'd prefer to support a candidate who says we need to be tough on demonstrations that go too far.
55% say the federal government's priority should be to limit the spread of COVID-19 even if it hurts the economy against 35% who say the priority should be to restart the economy.
He does still have a 56-40 (+16) approval on the economy (somehow)
Biden is +35 among voters who voted third-party or did not vote for Trump or Clinton in 2016.
Biden is +6 among those who voted in 2016 (so not even including people who turned 18 since) even though they reported Trump +2.5 when asked about 2016. (which actually has the sample being better for Trump than the actual 2016 results in those states lol)

National: Biden+14 (Biden at 50)

Presidential not enough for you? They did Senate too!

AZ: Kelly +9 (Would be a Dem flip)
MI: Peters +10 (Would be Dem hold)
NC: Cunningham +3 (Would be Dem flip)

Just one poll but from a solid pollster and many of its findings are consistent with other polling being done (mostly on the national level since state polling hasn't been nearly as robust yet)

I mean, to be fair, that blog literally admits there is a problem of what "in line" means, since there was, in fact, a line of cars, and people coming from those cars, which was our entire issue, since the whole argument was those people would have literally physically been in line if the overflow had been properly dealt with/prepared for.
