I love it, but I think I'm in the minority that likes Hateful Eight a bit more. I really liked the setting and all the characters were really engaging. Maybe not to the level of Leo in Django, but I really love Walton Goggins and this was a big movie role for him.

AAA games are just like blockbuster movies. They have a big budget from big studios, but that doesn't make them good or bad.

Sure, there's people that only play CoD, but thats just the same as the people that only see blockbusters at the movies like the Avengers.

Hey shock, anything to say about you guys getting the quote wrong? Nope, didnt think so. You just wanna cherry pick one thing to be a smartass about and emote.

The entire topic is about his "hot take" on kneeling and how garbage it is, and you yourself tried to justify his views on kneeling.

If you don't want to talk about kneeling then get the fuck out.

LOL, that wasn't what he asked. You're either being willfully ignorant or just lying about it to try to help your argument.

What was actually asked, word for word:

If we stick with this topic right now, you know, everyone is looking back now at Kaepernick's protests from a few years ago. And obviously they were always about police brutality. And now it's coming back to the fore, and a lot of people expect that we will see players kneeling again when the NFL season starts. I'm curious, how do you think the NFL will and should respond to that, and of course you're such a leader in the league. What is your responsibility as a leader in times like this for the rest of your teammates and players in the league?

So again, Kaepernick directly stated that his protests were not about the flag, the military, or whatever else conservatives made it about. He specifically said his protest was about police brutality. The person asking the question even reminded Drew Brees that the protest was about police brutality and Drew Brees just fired off an incredibly dismissive and willfully ignorant response.

https://www.google.com/amp/s/syndication.bleacherreport.com/amp/2894769-nate-boyer- green-beret-who-inspired-kaepernick-responds-to-drew-brees-comments.amp.html (link broken after "boyer")

Read his words and he explains exactly how it's not disrespectful. Brees might be "patriotic" but he's got a shit take.

When people say it's disrespectful to kneel during the anthem and they've never served, it's a good sign that their opinion on the matter isn't worth much at all.

I swear, i dont think some of you even know what he said. He said i will never support disrespecting the flag of the United States of America. By kneeling during the national anthem obviously. This is a man who had family in world war 2, and during the anthem he thinks of what they did for their country. Hes being blasted for being patriotic. He went on to say, if anything, the anthem is a time for unity where everyone can relate because we are all in this country together as we continue to make progress moving forward. His words

Thats controversial in 2020? Thats fucking stupid. And people trying to blast him for gay conversion, his Brees Dream Foundation uses its platform to raise awareness of gay teen suicide specifically.

In the most recent article i could fine, he had already raised about 6 million dollars by 2011, and he just donated 5 million for corona relief recently. This man has given away millions of dollars to help less fortunate people and fund cancer research. He immediately started helping rebuild after hurricane katrina. Hes done more to directly help black people and his community then thousands of average people put together. This man is a genuinely great person.

Some of you are so critical and mean spirited, i bet you have never donated to charity or done anything to help people you pretend to care about in your entire life.

** tc calls this guy racist twice in the topic title. Unbelievable

Explain to me, an actual veteran, how kneeling during the anthem is disrespectful when Kapaernick was advised by another veteran to do that because kneeling was a respectful thing to do.

I've got four.

One cross on my right bicep I got when I was like 19. It's a really poorly done tattoo with bad line work, and I haven't even been a Christian for around 8 years now.

On my right forearm I've got a pretty big tree of life. It's he one from this cigar band, with the same color gradient, looks real nice with bold line work.

Then I've got a triskelion on the inside of my left bicep. I honestly forget about it a lot.

From my left shoulder down to my elbow I have a custom elements piece with air, earth, water, and fire all coming out of a circular symbol in the center.

How about Chet? Chet is one of the most punchable names in the English language.

As for his personality, he's the soccer dad who gets drunk at his kid's games and heckles the other players, including the ones playing on the same team as their kid. He has an unhealthy obsession with winning, actively upsetting his kids when they place any lower than second during competitions and sports leagues or whatever, and he actively messes with their minds by saying that if they're not going to be good enough to win, they shouldn't try at all because it's a waste of time.

He's also the kind of dad who goes "I love my kids, but if they're gay, they're living on the street".

Oh man Chet absolutely. He wears Oakley's, and, even worse, puts them on the back of his head when he's inside.

I dont say his sold his soul over infidelity, i think the DC power got him. But its hard to sympathize with a man who left his loyal wife, even though she didnt bad mouth him after because she still loved him. Good woman. I get it but it is still sad all around. Maybe I am being hard on him, but when a woman is loyal to you for over a decade and you cheat on her then dump her because she cant feel below her waist. I am cold

Even if what you're saying, that he dumped her because she couldn't feel below the waist, I can't say I'd hold that against him. Marriages are built on more than just liking someone as a person, there's a romantic element as well. If that's gone, then what makes that person any different than close friend?

I didn't really care for it. Only two people couples matched up, and no one else really came close. Plus, it was just inconsistent. Like, they kicked off three people for not forming a connection with anyone, but there were other people there that were just chilling and not talking to anyone. I'm pretty sure it was only 8 episodes because there wasn't enough content to fill up more.

Typically casting agents on reality shows do a good of picking people that will gravitate towards each other or clash and there just wasn't much of that going on.

I was telling my girlfriend as we watched it that they really fucked by not casting exclusively bisexual people. Do that, and they double their chances of getting people to couple up.
