Crashlands: survival/resource game on an alien planet (a bit simple; kind of like a mobile game, but still a good game)
Factorio: survival/resource game on an alien planet
Kerbal Space Program: explore an alien solar system using extremely realistic tech and physics
Space Colony: build a space colony, making sure the people working there don't go nuts from boredom

My brand new PC (well, as of last year) has 8 USB ports... and by 8 I mean 3 'cuz logic. 2 of them in the back for the mouse and keyboard and 1 in the front.

I mean, there's quite visibly 4 in the front, 2 blue and 2 black - but only one of the black ones works.

So, I need a splitter.

Looking for a HIGH SPEED connection, but IDK how USB works so if speeds don't really matter and my controller won't have any lag then I'll just get an Amazon Basics or Staples generic one... but if speed DOES matter, that's where you guys come in - I would need a recommendation.

I just need 1 more slot for now, but if I want to add, like, facecam in the future I'd need another slot and so-on... but, because this is for gaming. SPEEEEEEEEEEEEED FIRST

I don't think so. The VMU was tiny. And I don't think it would have worked well trying to use it for crystal chronicles, tbh. And I only knew a couple games that really used it as something other than a memory card...

Honestly, the only relevant content on the GBA screen was your map type (which didn't really matter) and your bonus type (critical).

all the VMU would have to do is tell you what your bonus type is

Oxygen Not Included is another game with jobs. You assign your guys jobs (there are 12 of them) and can level them up to become proficient. It's a colony builder/sim game. You've probably heard of it.

Ya, the GBA thing was a complete ball-drop. The mutliplayer is actually pretty good.

I always thought a Wii/WiiU version would work, being able to control the game with the DS wirelessly, but that never came about.

It's a shitty indie game but it's like Star Trek where everyone has a job.

I watched "The Show" play it on youtube and that was like 10x the entertainment anyone would get from actually playing it.

Edit: It actually has a 9/10 rating on steam so maybe it's not as bad as it was when those guys played it.

Most space work games are piloting a ship to trade material (Elite/X/Transcendence) or at the opposite end a mining game that just coincidentally takes place in space.

that happens a lot where they finish some crazy mission & then the covenant just do something that makes its look insignificant. take out a communication tower? covenant ship immediately shows up & blows up your ship.

I just finished Reach a little bit ago... was pretty good overall.

I had to google something though... I assumed the whole team died so I had to google when Jun died 'cuz I don't think I seen it, but he lives! Can't recall when he leaves the party though

The secret is making sure all your ingredients are the right temperature... notably the water. It should be as close to exactly 45C as possible

There's no way a smartphone is going to be AS good as a dedicated camera in the same price range... and I would be using good lenses, they don't really attach to phones well. And I doubt there's a tripod for smartphones... ... but I guess there are people who would be into that

I'm halfway through Reach and, well, it's pretty good.

The AI is still not as good as CE in terms of PvE, but the enemies now behave a lot more like player bots rather than monster bots (if that makes any sense) so it's still cool, but annoyingly tricky since Elites can tweak out of anything.

Also, I'm detecting a theme with the plot so far

Jorge just sacrificed himself, and it was very sad - but as you are falling back to Reach you see the Covenant fleet come in - really stamping it in that the sacrifice was for nothing

I know OG64 was on the Wii shop, but that train has sailed.

I don't see them on the 3DS, and the Switch's selection is rather poor. Haven't checked the WiiU shop in a long time though so no idea what's there.

Neither are on any digital collections, either (although there isn't an N64 mini that I know of yet but there could be IDK)
