I mean, making it appear. It's over in the general area of those nice bird people, and you have a circular pad on the floor, and the five stone structures around it. Each of the structures has a circular hole in them. Clearly, you have to do something to make the Shrine appear. At first, I tried shooting arrows through each of the circular holes, in order (as indicated by the things at the top of the stone structures). When that didn't work, I tried throwing spherical bombs through each of the holes, again, in order. This didn't work either. What am I meant to do, exactly? Life is very confusing sometimes.

One way to do this, in theory, is to show your boss how smart you are. Say smart things, do smart things, come up with smart suggestions about how to improve the branch of the company you both work at, etc etc etc. The problem is, no manager I've ever encountered likes it when you reveal you're smarter than them. They become angry, bitter and aggressive (and probably violent in some cases). Also, many managers are pretty average in terms of intelligence. Thus, you have to conceal how intelligent you are, limiting your chances of getting promoted...but, as I said, if you show how you're smarter than your boss, you're DEFINITELY not getting promoted.

Quite the problem, huh?

Great game to play. So much fun. Super, despite adding in 4 new characters, fiddled around with things a bit too much, and, frankly, only 2 of the 4 new characters were actually enjoyable to play as. SFII Hyper Fighting also allowed to play at different speeds (obviously), and I enjoyed playing on 5 stars, which was fast, but not stupid.

I thought it was average. Exploring wasn't nearly as much fun as Fallout 3. At least the graphics, had, you know...colour in them.

What is the upper limit, anyway? 2 wheels? 3 wheels? Did you feel it was worth it? Did you just completely ignore hearts, being capped at 4 hearts for the entire game? How did that work out for you?

Since I got the game, I've almost always expanded my life bar. On my original file, I had about 14 hearts, but only 2 stamina upgrades (which isn't a huge amount). In retrospect, this was pretty fucking stupid. I should've expanded my energy bar to about 6 - 8 hearts, then focused on stamina for a while. Although, you'll certainly encounter dangerous enemies in the game, even early on, that do plenty of damage. Look at those Hinox fellows, wtf.

No. As you can see, people are being their usual helpful selves.

I remember, there was a lot of platforming, and you had to do various tasks for people, but apparently there were a lot of glitches. It looked like a really fun game, and it certainly reminded me of BotW, but people on CE said it wasn't that great. I dunno. It SEEMED fun. The guy on YouTube seemed to like it.

Is this some kind of American insult or something? I think I know the type of pool they mean, i.e. one of those inflatable things, but how is this an insult, and what exactly does it mean (in an idiomatic sense)? Everybody thought it was VERY funny, but I had no idea what the poaster was on about.

Even with about 40 bees as a shield (which is most of them), the furthest I've gotten is about 65 - 70%. I've been playing side-scrolling platformers for over 25 years, and this is REALLY hard, even with a powered up character. Have many people actually beaten this? Have I just gone stupid? Have I?

Brides of Dracula - Another of the various Hammer Horror Dracula films. Decent, nothing special at all. Screenplay was adequate, but I've seen far better. Just seeing Peter Cushing onscreen is cool, of course. Strangely, despite having Dracula in the title, Dracula, portrayed by either Christopher Lee or anyone else, doesn't appear.

It was the same kind of thing, i.e. a sandbox game but with plenty of platforming (as opposed to Fallout 3, Oblivion, etc.). But it didn't make much of an impact, possibly due to a lot of glitches. Does anyone know what game I'm talking about?

I can't believe this. Do people really think the games are that bad? Wtf? Those games are mostly recognised as classics, and in the case of Super Mario 64, a high level classic.

Jet Set Willy 2 is one of the best platform-adventure games I've ever played. You know, even after 30 years, I still haven't beaten it without cheating.

No. They are still amazing games, for the most part. Although I do agree Perfect Dark has aged badly, mostly due to the framerate (although that was pretty bad, even in Summer of 2000).

Witchfinder General - Finally saw this important horror film, but it was mediocre. Just about the only good thing was all the pretty shots of the English countryside (this is money in the bank). There were also a few decent scenes, but that was about it. Only film I've ever seen with the famous Vincent Price in it, but it's hard to imagine he's a staple of old horror films, since his high-pitched, nasal voice makes him completely unscary.

Odyssey has no filler

There are 900 Power Moons, and I had was basically bored after 400. Wtf. Why did they make it this way?

I enjoyed pretty much all 120 Stars in Super Mario 64; I enjoyed most of the 120 Shines in Super Mario Sunshine. Galaxy 1 and 2 are a bit more contentious, because I really didn't see much point in the second set of Stars in either game, but that's still only 50% filler content, as opposed to roughly 60% or more in Oddysey.

You know, it's shipped 52 million units. Crazy. The XBox One, which has been out for roughly 3 and a half years longer, has shipped something like 40 million. Oh, that's between both the standard Switch model, and the Switch Lite, although the vast majority of the sales are for the regular Switch.

How do you feel about the console so far? When did you get yours?

To be fair, so far it's just a quite good console. It's not one of those excellent consoles, like the 360, or N64. But of course, it's only been 3 years.
