This is the first AC game Ive played since the first. My wife loves these types of games, and Ive enjoyed it so far but the amount of dialogue you have to go through for so many things that could be once and then skipped is mindboggling to me.

Weve gotten past Blathers, started getting fossils, upgraded the house, etc. maybe 10hrs in.

Just so many little irritating things with the interface and user experience that is completely unnecessary that its at times hard to play. Simplest examples are things like everytime you capture something your character has to say their little quip...just let me swipe and capture the thing and continue on. So many of these extra little time sinks built in, I dont care the reason, annoying.

people would probably get upset if they removed creature quips. It's a series staple.

Blathers would blab on and on the in the earlier games and they removed that in New Leaf so people got triggered. Now his blabbing is optional in New Horizons.

There used to be a character who would never shut up, Mr Resetti. He would talk for 10 minutes calling you a moron and people were upset he was removed.

The longtime fans like flavor text.

I have a lot of gripes. Manila Clams don't stack, I don't like that you can only craft things one at a time.
They need to changes these for sure in an update.
