The problem with conspiracies is that it would require an extreme level of control to actually implement. Misleading the American public on this thing for over 30 years umm no not possible, someone would have leaked it in that time.

The reason that is happening is because these police departments are declaring the protests as unlawful assemblies and at some point need to use non-lethal means to disperse the crowd. So they start using smoke, flash bangs, pepper spray, tear gas and rubber bullets to get people to recede which completely escalates the already tense environment.

Arrested sure, but in some cases they lose their job at the most. The Rodney King beating went to trial and the jury acquitted four of the officers involved of assault and 3 of the remaining ones of using even excessive force.

Yeah, it's definitely the potential for a huge money making scheme. In my area you can junk any car for about $300ish at the very least and they will come pick it up. So even if you are donating the biggest piece of crap car in the world they can likely turn that into at least $200-300 no matter what.

Donating a car is a bigger donation than most randoms make to charities, since it's rare for someone to donate $300+ to a charity via cash.

The show is great the only season that sucks is the final one before it went on hiatus for over a decade. The characters are also very good and really become very enjoyable over time.

I also have the ability to enjoy British style humor and still enjoy an american sitcom. These are not mutually exclusive people... I have seen a good number of British shows that I like, it doesn't exclude me from enjoying say Parks and Rec or something.

I love how people say this never happens for what others can't determine to be a reason, when we have numerous cases where a guy walks out on a family with no reason given and no indication then years later you find out he started another family in some other state.

Obviously she had some reason to do this and if she had a huge falling out or major issue with the mother you bet the mom wouldn't say shit about it.

I think the biggest problem with the game is the GCD it feels like molasses when you are first starting because for some reason they thought that the typical cool down between skill use WoW had was way too fast.

Once you hit certain levels things speed up but for some reason they were like 40 levels or so of slow as fuck cooldowns sure. Keep in mind I am speaking of the wait between using a skill into the next one, not the actual cooldown on random abilities.

It helps that they are targeting games that are either indie titles that won't cost a lot or games that are 4+ years old. It's not like they are giving out free copies of Cyberpunk 2077 or something.

I'd take my dog on the road doing performances. To delete my PS2 save data he would have to go into my closet find the Ps2 and all necessary cords+controllers. Hook it up to my television, then turn it on and using the controller find and delete all my saves.

Yeah, most on the ground floor jobs go belly up before they ever become big. I had Arcane Shot in hand and could have played it to bring him to 2. I tend to hold it if I know for sure I can play it next turn regardless in case the opponent leaves lethal without realizing I have it in hand. I assumed he would heal up.

I forgot that he completed quest last turn so his Oberon whatever it's called gives +3/3 to minions for the easy win. If I had used Arcane Shot it at least could ends in a tie if he had nothing in hand or is careless. More realistically he plays something from hand and wins anyway win instead of going straight face immediately but I didn't give myself that option.

They do break win streaks because you didn't win or lose, it's a win streak not a didn't lose streak. They don't take away anything though because you didn't lose.

Sometimes they do go on sale, but first party games do rarely go down in price if you don't mind digital occasionally Nintendo will have a nice sale on one or two of their first party games.

1 and 2 aren't bad games they are a bit dated and much harder than 3+ but they aren't bad. It's like comparing Final Fantasy I vs. Final Fantasy X they are way too different to directly compare them.

The entire "life-sim" that Persona has become in addition to being a turn based JRPG didn't even become a thing until Persona 3.

Until Covid you could easily get a Switch even during Black Friday buying sprees. The only time the Switches became hard to find is the first 3-6 months after it came out and now thanks to Covid. Acting like you can't find the console no matter what thanks to Nintendo never producing enough is a fucking joke.

Even now you can find the Switch Lite pretty easily so if you need a Switch and don't mind having the purely portable version you can get one.

It's not even a Scooby Doo movie, it's more of a Hanna-Barbera multiverse movie, with a huge focus on Blue Falcon.

Keep in mind that the post office has had two things recently that have hurt it greatly.

In 2006 the Repub-led congress passed a law forcing the Post Office to pre-pay 75 years of it's in advance which no other corporation on earth has to do. The government also won't let the Post Office raise rates to stay profitable, so if they determine that the only way to make a profit is to double the price of stamps the government won't allow that.

Anyway you look at it countless businesses benefit from the post office from large corporations sending junk mail to us, to smaller businesses using it to ship stuff they make on Etsy or sell on Ebay. Not to mention huge Corps like Amazon that use the USPS to help keep costs down. Sure the days of people using mail to communicate is basically over, but that doesn't invalidate the need of the Post Office.

You have to keep in mind that some people save money paying $20 to watch it, if you have a wife+2 kids then even if you don't let them have any snacks or drinks at a theater you are looking at spending over $20 just to take the full family.

It sucks for single people living alone but that is how their pricing model is based.

Changing taste in 10 minutes umm no, changing taste when left untouched for say 12+ hours sure.

I also really like when you get way ahead of the curve and start developing technology the world won't see for hundreds of years.

Civ games, and 4x games in general, aren't fun per se.

They give you that feeling of "five turns from now is gonna be really fun!", but you never actually get there

Depends on the person, I enjoy playing them from time to time they aren't something I will just play endlessly for weeks straight but every couple months I enjoy booting it up for some Civ action.

Being a great Civ player is all about understanding all the mechanics and knowing how to exploit the situation to your advantage. A part of it is also understaning what is worth building when, when you just start you have no clue which buildings are worthwhile.

Starting off on a high difficulty as a new player is dumb, this is not like Doom where the core mechanics are obvious and you just shoot shit Civ takes time to learn.

The game is not that hard, after you run through it a few times it starts to become much easier. Crap if you play on the easiest or 2nd easiest difficulty the computer won't really do much to get you.
